The size of a point text container depends solely on the text it contains, whereas the size of an
area text container is independent of the amount of text it contains.
Point text is the default type of TLF text container. To change a point text container to an area
text container, use the Selection tool to resize it or double-click the small circle at the lower
right of the container's bounding box.

The Principle of Love
All living things require love to survive, including ourselves. We must first attend to our own needs for
love before we can love others. When we neglect ourselves emotionally, we become emotionally toxic
and are not whole enough to give love to others. When we change the inner dialog from the inner
critic to that of the inner companion, we bolster our self-esteem and self-respect. Then we are free to
nurture others by being the caring, compassionate, thoughtful, and kind beings we truly are.
3. Now using the TLF text, type the following text
The first time the fox saw a lion he fell down at its feet, ready to die of fright The second time he still
shook with fear, but he managed to raise his eyes and take a quick look at the lion's face. The third
time he was so bold that he Walked right up to the lion and began to talk to it as if he had known it all
his life.
4. Using the three types of text, create three (3) different texts similar to the image below:

An instance is a copy of a symbol placed
in a document. An instance can have its own properties like color and size. It functions differently from
the original symbol. All the symbols used in a flash document are stored in the Library from where

updated. But changing the properties, effects, or dimensions of an instance of a symbol does not affect
the original symbol or other instances of the same symbol.
What is a Graphic Symbol?
Graphic symbols are reusable static images that are primarily used to create animations. It can be an
original drawn vector image, plain text or even an imported bitmap photo. These images can be used
over and over again in one frame in the Timeline.
The difference between graphic symbols and movie clips is that the former cannot inherit the timeline
for each image used. A graphic symbol typically has a small file size, which makes it easy to use over
and over again in a document. Also, each image can easily be edited using the Property Inspector.
Creating graphic symbols
There are two ways to create a graphic symbol in Flash CS5.5.
Using the New Symbol option: 1. From the Menu bar, click the Insert menu. 2. From the Insert
menu, click New Symbol or use the shortcut key, Ctr+F8.
