Muslims face many challenges in secular countries in the name of secularism, including bans on Islamic practices and dress. Some examples are bans on headscarves in schools in France and a broader ban on religious symbols in public places in France in 2003. Secular feminism in Western countries also creates problems for Muslim women by pushing values from outside any religious context and limiting Islamic practices. Additionally, Muslims are often denied equal rights as minorities and treated with suspicion as potential terrorists in the media. This fuels Islamophobia and a sense of fear around being Muslim. As a result, many Muslims struggle to find balance between religious conservation and moderation due to external pressures, though the Quran remains their common religious foundation.

Challenges faced by Muslims in the name of Secularism:

Banning Islamic practices in the name of Secularism:

World is going to observe a rapid change and a no way down in secularization in obvious relation to the
organized religion. It can start from the danish cartoon director (directed the Prophet Muhammad
(SAW) cartooned animated film) to the proliferated bans on the various forms of the Muslims dress.
This can further widen itself to the Islam and the ultimate racism to the turn, their so-called relation
with terrorism, foreign policy, and the security.
Muslims all over the world (countries where Muslims live as minorities) are facing, not less to burning in
fire problems, majority of the problems that are unnoticed. Several accountable examples could
merge in it, of which, few are as followings:
The first is the case where there were majority, no doubt, in support, of the head-teacher in France, who
raised the issue of banning the headscarves during the school time. This is what mandatory, and
obvious in Islam.
The second case can be depicted as the banning of the religious wearing of the conspicuous symbols and
the cloths, that happened in 2003 in France, where the majority then later were able to pass the bill
as well.
The Secular feminism:
Many of the developed, with Muslims minorities, countries have this thing rising to the level of skies.
The secular feminists are firmly believing in grounding their very discourse from outside the any
religion boundaries, fact is that they are interested in griping their position in international human
rights as well. Thing here, to consider, is that Islam has define some limits to the Muslims and
especially to the women, now this feminism in the name of secularistic right, is creating chaos and a
problem for the Muslim.
Rights:
Muslims are over the world they are in minority are left empty handed from their rights or are given as
the sand in hand. They are not given equal rights as are given to the whites (non-Muslims). They are
treated as with the tag of terrorists, the only point arose by the media and very much highlighted
when a Muslim is known as the cause of it, answer to this, is, in fact, that an individual among every
religion can be corrupted and culprit but the whole religion cannot be.
Islamophobia:
very much irrespective of the social status or the profession and being called the Muslim will always
raises the question marks. Muslims are the universe’s present and clear suspect only until they manage
somehow to clear themselves and attain the better status and after that to be watched very carefully.
Now this is what creating and bringing roots to the so-called islamophobia, how? Its when they count on
Muslim raising, they create the fear of being Muslim in the world and this can be accomplished only by
the help of social media to detract the people and make false statements about them.
Between the conservation and Moderation:
It has been observed that many of the Muslim are now subjected to swing between the religious
conservation and the moderation and this behavior and the decisions are due to countless factors, and
they are very much clearly influenced by the peers they have, still the Muslims book, Quran, remains
the religious foundation (common).
