GLOBAL Air Handling Units consists of a range of models having air volumes ranging
from 0.25 m³/Sec to 20 m³/Sec and Static Pressures as high as 1500 Pascal: to ensure
maximum flexibility and the best solution for your application. These Units can be
manufactured in varied configurations. These units are designed to offer customized
solutions to suit individual requirements

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
 Panels and Framework
 Double skin sandwiched panels with outer skin of 0.6

mm is made of pre – painted GI sheet and inner skin of
0.6 mm Plain GI Sheet confirming to IS:277.
 The casing shall have extruded aluminium perimeter
frame with modular panel and composite material
corner piece.
 The PUF insulation which density 40 Kg/m³ provides
better thermal insulation and sound attenuation.
 Air tight doors are mounted for servicing, whenever
necessary on the unit. The doors are fitted with nylon
handle. Die cast AL hinges are used for heavy duty load bearing design.
 Sealing of the panels to the constructions is ensured by strips of self – adhesive cellular
rubber.
 Unit is mounted on galvanized steel base frame for easy handling and positioning
 Filters
Considering Indoor Air Quality in Air handling Units, there are different types of filters
coming in different efficiency levels.
Pre Filters – Synthetic media panel filters class G2, G3 &

G4 arranged in AL frame.
Fine Filters – High efficiency compact cell filter class of

filters are G4, M5, M6, F7 & F8
HEPA Filters – Glass fibre media filter, class of H13 & H14
preferred for hygienic environments, these are very high
efficiency filters.
 Coils
Variety of coils including chilled water, direct expansion and hot water are available to
meet a wide range of application requirements.
 Coils are constructed from seamless copper tubes

(3/8” or 5/8” O.D.) and are mechanically expanded
into continuous corrugated Aluminum fins to
provided continuous compression bond over the
entire finned length for maximum heat transfer rates.
 Coils manufactured up to 6 rows for both chilled

water and direct expansion coil and up to 4 rows for
heating coils. No of fines per inch is 12 FPI.
 Each coil is pressure tested @ 21 kg/cm² under water.
 Assembly is completed with MS or Copper header which is located within the coil
section on slide type arrangements for easy withdrawal & maintenance.
 Drain Pan
The deep and sloped drain pan is designed to discharge the condensate water quickly.
 Drain pan is fabricated by corrosion

resistant Stainless Steel of Grades
SS 304 as a standard feature.
 Drain pan is insulated with closed

cell elastomeric insulation to avoid
surface condensation.
 Fan and Motor
 Centrifugal fans are of double inlet double

width type with forward / backward curved
impeller. Plug fans are optional. All fans
are energy efficient, AMCA certified.
 The motor is of TEFC squirrel cage

induction type with IP 55 protection and
class ‘F’ insulation.
 Fan – motor are mounted on a common

fabricated heavy gauge GI Chanel using
anti vibration pad and flexible connection
on fan outlet for silent and vibration free
operation.
 There is a service door with electrical interlock trips on the fan section for service &
maintenance purpose.
