The key takeaways are the design philosophy, analysis approach, loads considered and material specifications for a 120m x 40m pre-engineered building structure.

The structure is modeled and analyzed in STAAD. Analysis and design of the steel structure is carried out in STAAD while the substructure is analyzed in STAAD and designed using Excel. Bracing is provided in the longitudinal direction.

The loads considered are dead load, collateral load, live load, wind load, earthquake load, temperature load and other miscellaneous loads.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY FOR 120X40M PEB SHED

EOT’s with a capacity of 30 Tonne each and with a hook clear height of 8 meters
from FFL.

2.0 ANALYSIS AND DESIGN PHILOSOPHY:

Structure is modeled as 3D model in STAAD. Analysis and Design of Steel

Structure is carried out STAAD and substructure is analyzed in STAAD and Design
is carried out Using Excel work sheets.
