board rooms, presentation equipment etc. A variety of training approaches will be implemented during the
course of the qualification. The Imperial College of Australia’s trainers represent the role of a real client and
portray the workplace demands while working on projects. This includes role-play of difficult & diverse type
customers.
Students prepare timelines, schedule milestones, communicate, prepare documentation, and conduct training in
accordance with the client (trainer) demands. Students will also be expected to work as a team (group
work/assignments), fulfilling responsibilities and expectations of the job and workplace.
If role plays are required, the assessor Will ensure all ‘actors’ or ‘participants’ perform in a professional manner -
reflecting an actual workplace. Participants will be informed of their expected involvement.

Retention of your submitted work
ASQA the national regulator of Vocational Education and Training requires that The Imperial College of Australia
keeps all the original assessment works for a period of six months or until the end of student’s course whichever
is the longer. Students must keep all copies of their submitted assessments. You may require them to resubmit
their assessment(s) where original submissions are damaged or corrupted. No original work can be returned to
students until after the period prescribed by ASQA.
Re-Assessment
Students who are dissatisfied with their assessment outcome may apply for reassessment by contacting their
trainer or assessor.
Reassessment policy and instructions –
As per our current ‘Student agreement and offer acceptance form’, If a student attended the class, submitted
his/her assignment on time, attempted the theory and/or practical assessment and receives NYC in Class activity
/Assignment /Theory & Practical Assessment, Imperial will provide the student with a free second chance of re-
assessment without any charges. A re-assessment fee of $50/unit of competency will be charged, if the student
fails the unit on second attempt.
The total number of attempts to pass any unit of competency are limited to three including the first assessment
with regular class. The student has to re-enrol in the unit if he/she is unsuccessful after three attempts. Student
have an option of making a request to change his/her assessor for second and third attempt.
Absent during Assessment without a valid reason - As per our current ‘Student agreement and offer
acceptance form’, If a student is absent from the class without any valid reason and miss partial or full unit then
he/she has to pay a re-sitting fee as per following details:-
