RMA Sandhurst

Regular Commissioning Course

Dress and Equipment List

as at October 2010

This list appears on the RMAS website at army.mod.uk/sandhurstpccbc

It is vital that all Officer Cadets (OCdts) attend the Commissioning Course (CC) at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) in
possession of the right dress and equipment at the right time. This will contribute to success on the course.

This is the definitive list. Any further questions should be addressed to Captain McLeish, SO3 Officer Candidate Administration Cell
(OCAC) at RMAS – 01276 412001 or [email protected].

Below are details of items which OCdts at RMAS find useful and/or essential. Candidates due to attend the CC in the near future
should read through this list carefully and ensure that they are satisfied with what they are required to have, and when they are
required to have it. During your Pre-Course Briefing (PCCBC) you will be given further guidance on this list.

Items in black are standard items which will be required. You should purchase/procure these as necessary before the course and
bring them with you.

Items in BOLD CAPITALS refer to an Administration Starter Pack (known as the Red Pack), which can be purchased from RMAS.
The total cost of this pack, when bought as a package, is £37.99. When you arrive, your Directing Staff (DS) will identify who would
like one of these packs, and you will be able to collect within the first few days of Week One, in time for when you will be required
to use the items. If you opt not to purchase this pack, you must make alternative arrangements and bring these items with you.
Remember: you will not be allowed to leave RMAS within the first 5 weeks. Purchasing this pack will ensure that you buy the right
equipment at a reasonable price, and should also save you time.
