Pre-Major: BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION MANAGEMENT

Dear BRADY,

Congratulations and welcome to the Class of 2025! You have been admitted to San Diego State
University for the fall 2021 semester to the pre-major* indicated above.

Admission information is available at sdsu.edu/admittedfreshmen. Please read it immediately to learn

about the steps you must complete in order to finalize your admission.

I’d like to emphasize a few important dates you need to know:

• Reserve your place for fall 2021 by accepting your offer of admission no later than May 1. Log in to
your SDSU WebPortal account at sdsu.edu/portal and submit your online Intent to Enroll form
and $400 nonrefundable deposit.

• Send official transcript(s) from all high schools and colleges you have attended, including fall 2020
grades, and all official test scores for SAT, ACT, Advanced Placement (AP), and International
Baccalaureate (IB) tests you have taken (if applicable) by the deadline listed in your SDSU
WebPortal account.

• Submit your Student Housing License Agreement by May 1 if you are required, or have chosen, to
live in on-campus housing. The on-campus Student Housing License Agreement will be available
through the Housing Portal in March. A nonrefundable fee of $375 is due with your license
agreement. For additional information, review the housing requirement in your Steps to Enroll at
sdsu.edu/freshmenhousing.

• Plan to attend Virtual Explore SDSU Open House on March 20 and April 17 and New Student
Orientation this summer. All new students are expected to complete New Student Orientation.
More information about these important events is available at sdsu.edu/admittedfreshmen.

Please note that your admission was based on the major to which you applied. Therefore, you cannot
change your major during the admission process. In addition, your admission is further conditioned on
your completing, with C- or higher grades, all coursework indicated on your application as in progress
or planned, AND your maintaining your reported overall grade point average.

SDSU sends important email communications throughout the admission process. Future official
communication from the university may be delivered to your official SDSU email address so check
this email regularly. After May 1, all future communication will be sent to your official SDSU
email address, which means you will no longer receive email from SDSU to the personal email
address listed on your application. More information is available at sdsu.edu/admittedfreshmen.
If you need to update your mailing address or phone number, please make these updates on the
SDSU WebPortal.
We look forward to you joining the SDSU family. Please contact us if you have any questions. Again,
congratulations!

Sincerely,

Sabrina Cortell
Director of Admissions

*Admission into programs leading to licensure and credentialing does not guarantee that students will obtain a license or
credential. Licensure and credentialing requirements are set by agencies that are not controlled by or affiliated with the CSU
and requirements can change at any time. For example, licensure or credentialing requirements can include evidence of the right
to work in the United States (e.g., social security number or tax payer identification number) or successfully passing a criminal
background check. Students are responsible for determining whether they can meet licensure or credentialing requirements. The
CSU will not refund tuition, fees, or any associated costs, to students who determine subsequent to admission that they cannot
meet licensure or credentialing requirements. Information concerning licensure and credentialing requirements are available from
the College of Education Office for Student Success at [email protected] for credentialing information and Janet Park, Speech,
Language, and Hearing Sciences Administrative Coordinator, for licensure information at [email protected] or (619) 594-7746. For
nursing licensure and certification information, please contact [email protected] or (619) 594-2540.
