    STEP TO INSTALL CAPICOM.DLL

    The Installation of or registration of capicom.dll varies according to the Windows bit version like 32 bit version
    or 64 bit.

    For Windows XP, Windows 7 or Windows 8 (32 bit) For Windows 7 or Windows 8 (64 bit)
    To see windows bit version right click on My Computer and choose property, given below screen show
    Windows bit version
    For Windows, Windows 7 Windows 8 (32Bit)
    1. Go to My Computer Local Disc (C:)/Windows/ System32
    2. Copy capicom.dll to My Computer/ Local Disc (C:)/Windows/ System32

    3. Search cmd file


    4. Right click on cmd and open in Administrator Mode

    5. Type command regsvr32 capicom.dll


    6. On clicking Enter button, the successful installation message displays.
    For Windows 7, Windows 8, Window 10 (64 bit)

    1. Ensure windows must be 64 bit


    2. Click on windows Start button
    3. Type %systemroot%\SysWoW64\ in the search text box to open system folder
    4. Type %systemroot%\SysWoW64\ in the search text box to open system folder
    5. Copy the corresponding capicom.dll to following folder %systemroot%\SysWoW64\
    6. Open the cmd prompt in administrator mode
    7. Type cd\ and Enter
    8. Copy the file location where capicom.dll was saved & paste in cmd
    9. Paste the command “regsvr32 capicom.dll”
    10. On clicking Enter the button, the successful installation message displays.
