4 Panel plate L assy

1. Pull the top side of thread take-up cover to release the hook, and remove it.
2. Remove the screw (screw, bind M3x8) to remove the presser foot lever from the presser lifter shaft
assy.
3. Remove the differential dial lid from the differential dial. Remove the screw (tapping screw, pan V
M3x20) to remove the washer plain M3 and the differential dial.
4. Turn the hand wheel by hand, and move the looper thread take-up A/B to the lowest point.

6. Remove the two screws (tapping screw, pan V M3x8) to remove the needle thread take-up guide and
the needle thread separator from the panel plate L assy.
7. Remove the screw (tapping screw, pan V M3x8) to remove the needle thread guide O from the panel
plate L assy.
8. Remove the screw (tapping screw, pan V M3x8) to remove the washer spring 2-3 and the needle
thread guide R from the panel plate L assy.
9. Pull out the pin spring roll AW2 to remove the UL thread guide lever and the UL thread guide spring
from the panel plate L assy.

7 Thread tension L assy

1. Remove the two screws (screw, bind M4x6) to remove the thread tension L assy.
2. Remove the screw (screw, bind M3x4) to remove the washer plain S 4.2, the spacer 3x2.5 and the
thread tension lever from the thread tension base.
3. Remove the spring (XB2471) from the thread tension release and the thread tension base. Remove the
thread tension release from the thread tension base.

1. Remove the screw (set screw, socket (CP) M4x4). Pull out the OL shaft from the O.L shaft and the OL
lever. Pull out the O.L shaft from the OL shaft guide.

• Fully tighten the screw after performing "Over looper / lower looper gap adjustment".
2. Remove the screw (set screw, socket (CP) M4x4) to remove the over looper L assy from the O.L shaft.

1. Remove the screw (set screw, socket (CP) M4x4) from the UL link. Remove the screw (set screw,
socket (CP) M4x4) from the arm bed. Remove the UL lever.
*Assembling note
• Fully tighten the screw after performing "Front / back position of lower looper adjustment".
2. Remove the screw (set screw, socket (CP) M4x4) to pull out the UL link shaft from the UL collar and the
UL lever.

1. Remove the stopper screw to remove the upper knife link from the feed eccentric wheel.
2. Remove the screw (set screw, socket (CP) M4x4) to pull out the driving lever arm shaft.
3. Remove the retaining ring E5 from the driving lever arm shaft.
