3. Quality Assurance and Management Services as specified in Section 9

4. Dynamic balancing of critical rotating parts – (e.g. Shredder Rotor) in workshop

5. Assembly in workshop of the each group motor-pump and auxiliary components (seal system,
instrumentation, junction box, etc.) on a common baseplate.

6. Alignment of each motor-gearbox group in workshop.

7. Cleaning, identification, coating and protection of external, internal and machined surfaces.

8. Painting to the extent specified herein. See reference “ILLOVO Painting Technical Specification”
document.

9. Packing and protection needed to deliver the supplied components to the site without risk of damage,
and transport of the supplied components to the site.

10. Transport: base price Ex-Works and transport to the site (optional price) DDP according Incoterms 2010,
including insurances and unload on site.

11. Site supervision during erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning of all equipment supplied.

12. Attendance of qualified personnel for performance & guarantee test

13. Warranties and guaranteed performance values.

14. Maintenance and Operation training course at site in English language.

2.4 SPARE PARTS

The VENDOR shall provide a list of recommended spares and fittings for all the equipment and auxiliary devices
supplied. The list shall include the part name, and specify its kind and main characteristics, replacement
frequency, delivery time, quantities and price. This recommendation shall be coherent with the instructions
given in the Supply Operation and Maintenance Manual.

The spares recommended and subsequently quoted by the VENDOR in the contract, after approval by the Buyer,
shall cover the following:

 Spares for start-up and commissioning up to the final acceptance test.

 Spares for two (2) years operation.

After contract, spare parts list for operation shall be submitted by Vendor according to a specific template to be
provided by the Buyer during the project execution phase. As minimum the Vendor shall include, the following
spare parts for 2 years of operation:

 Two sets of shredder hammers

 Two strands of feeder table chains

 One pair of chain strands for intermediate carriers

 One complete set of conveyor scrappers for one feeder table

 One complete set of slats for each chain conveyor

 One complete belt maximum length of each type and size

 One set of belt scraper of each type and size

 One set of mill rolls for one mill.

 One set of scrapers for one mill.

A copy of the referenced drawings where the spare parts are listed shall be attached to this document too.

The materials to be used during the erection, testing and commissioning activities up to the acceptance test
shall not be considered as spares and shall be supplied with the main items of equipment as part of the contract.
VENDORs shall include at least the following as commissioning spares for the cane handling equipment:

 10% of conveyor scrappers or slats for any feeder tables and chain conveyor

 10% of idler station complete with roller for each type of belt conveyor troughed and return idler
station

The spares shall be marked and packaged so that they are protected against damage, deformation, loss, etc.
during transport and storage. The VENDOR shall indicate the storage requirements of the spares, if any.

The delivery time for spare parts shall be agreed upon so that the first set of spares reaches the Purchaser Plant
before equipment tests are commenced.

2.5 SPECIAL TOOLS, CONSUMABLES, LUBRICANTS AND MAINTENANCE

If necessary, the VENDOR shall provide a list identifying all the special tools required for the operation and
maintenance of the equipment and auxiliary devices supplied in accordance with the Supply Operation and
Maintenance Manual.

The VENDOR shall specify if special hoisting devices are required for the assembly or disassembly of parts of the
equipment supplied.

The VENDOR shall identify and include in its costs the special tools required for the erection of the equipment
and auxiliary devices supplied, as well as those that could be used for operation and maintenance activities.

The VENDOR shall at least include the following items:

 A lifting beam to be able to handle top roller with two end pinions

 A set of lifting slings for installation/dismantling of rollers

 A set of mill headstock trammels for mill geometry set up and triangular gauges for setting of the mills.

 A set of packing plates and shims for each equipment

 Hydraulic jack if required for setting of mill rollers

All the tools accepted to be supplied under the contract shall be referenced taking into consideration its use in
the application of the Supply Operation and Maintenance Manual.

The VENDOR shall supply of 1st fill of lubricants & grease for all gearboxes and bearings.

After contract, special tools, consumables, lubricants and maintenance measures list shall be submitted by
VENDOR according to a specific template to be provided by the Buyer during the project execution phase.
