What is the difference between Asynchronous
and Synchronous learning?

• Asynchronous means ”Off-line” or “Self-study” mode

• The student will be given Learning objectives of Hi-yield
topics to focus on based on the Mother Textbooks
• The student shall study at their own pace the PRINTED
review handouts and supplement with viewing of Pre-
recorded Video Lectures in the E-CDB online site
• Synchronous sessions are PRE-scheduled LIVE interactive
lectures via Zoom
• Synchronous sessions are usually 2-3 hours with ample
pocket breaks in between
• Synchronous sessions are NOT recorded and repeated after
the schedule. It provides REAL-TIME interaction with your
professor
 Will I be able to repeat the video
lectures in the E-CDB site?

• YES. The E-CDB Online Review website provides

24/7 access to the Library of Recorded Video
Lectures
• You may repeat the video as many times as you
deem necessary
• However, a student may take the ONLINE Exam
ONLY with ONE attempt
 Will there be face-to-face classes?

• The Hybrid Intensive Review will be a FULL Online

review due to the present COVID-19 Situation
nationwide
• Faculty and Student safety is our utmost concern
• In the event that the IATF, DOH, CHED allow resumption
of limited Face-to-face classes and the REAL COVID
situation on the ground is controlled then CDB will
provide SUPPLEMENTAL Onsite Coaching Sessions.
• Both Cebu and Manila branches are IATF and DTI
compliant with minimum health protocols and prepared
if guidelines permit us to conduct classes onsite.
What if I cannot personally pick up the
printed handouts at the Review Center?

• Due to travel and quarantine restrictions, the

CDB secretariats of both Manila and Cebu
branches will offer to mail your respective
handouts to your homes
• The mailing fee and reasonable transportation
expenses of our staff will be shouldered by the
student
• Target Date of release of Printed handouts is
May 15, 2021
 Are tuition fees refundable or
transferable?

• It is a company policy that ALL

tuition fees once paid are non-
refundable and non-transferable
 How do I apply for a scholarship?
• Class Valedictorians and Salutatorians will
automatically get a 100% FULL Entrance
Scholarship
• Students who graduated with Latin Honors or
belong to the TOP 5 percentile of their
graduating batch (Minimum class size 30) are
qualified for PARTIAL Scholarships (25%, 50%,
75% tuition discounts)
• Requirements: Recent formal photo, Certificate
