3. Based on the webinar we attended, As a Nurse, enumerate and describe the 3 ways to
assist/support a person with dementia.
State your message clearly and use simple word. Instead of shouting or high pitch tone
just speak slowly and in a reassuring tone in person with dementia,
Be understanding and knowledgeable. Be understanding so they can even now feel
exceptional and cherished. You have to know their conduct and non-verbal
communication with the goal that you can give a correct intervention to your patient.
Listen with your eyes, ears, and heart. Be patient in waiting for your adored one's
answer. Watch for non-verbal prompts and body language and respond appropriately.
Continuously endeavor to listen in for the importance and emotions that underlie the
words.
