Conclusions This experiment showed that 0.575% of the solution mass


: was composed of citric acid. It is important to emphasize
that the three titrations for NaOH standardization had a
range greater than 0.20 mL, then one of the samples
should have been replaced by another titration to reduce
this range and reach a more precise and reliable mean.
Therefore, we can say that the final result has a
considerable analysis error. This error could be eliminated
by following some important steps, such as eliminating any
bubbles at the burette tip, rinsing the beaker walls and the
burette tip to recover any spilled reagent, and wait 30s to
make sure the end-point was reached.
