ORIGINALITY - 30%
- Do the props, materials, equipments, products enhance the display to further tell a
strand or career story and message?
FLOAT
1. The float must be in the assembly area one hour before the motorcade starts at 7:00 am
2. Open to all interested schools both elementary and secondary.
SYMBOLISM - 30%
- The entry should project and symbolize the meaning of career guidance
DESIGN - 30%
- Pertains to concept and artistic merits of the design taking into consideration.
Balance, Proportion, Emphasis, Harmony as primarily reflected in shapes/images
and colors.
IMPLEMENTATION - 40%
- How the designed is realized and how the float is made are the focus in this
criterion. For considerations are quality of craftsmanship, stability of structure and
decoration, choice and creative use of materials.
Major awards
INTELLIGENCE (30%) This question and answer portion is designed to give the judges an
opportunity to learn more about the candidate. It would help the judge assess the candidate’s
ability to express herself and defend her beliefs.
POISE AND ELEGANCE (40%) This phase of the competition is an opportunity to showcase the
candidate’s ability to carry an attire of career he/she representing with poise, confidence and
elegance. It is not the beauty of the attire alone that will be judged, but how the contestant
carries it as well.
OVER-ALL IMPACT (30%) This shows the kind of impact the candidate has on the audience. That
includes her beauty, bearing and confidence.

1. Students from grades 9-12 both male and female are qualified to join the contest.
2. Interested schools within Panabo City both public and private must submit one entry per grade level
only.
3. Submission of entry and personal appearance of the candidates will be on July 6, 2017 at the Panabo
Multi-purpose Gym at exactly 1 p.m. Both male and female candidates are advised to bring their
casual attire. For female, 2-3 inches hilled shoes/ sandals for audition.
4. No entries will be accepted after the deadline. Please look for Mr. Noel M. Coquilla and Ian Reggy B.
Paring.
1. It is open to any type of act, singers, and dancers of any genre, models and specialist acts of nature. If
you think you got talent, then bring it on!
2. Student-participants should be officially enrolled at any school in Panabo City offering Senior High
School
of the School Year 2017-2018. One entry only from interested schools.
3. Please be aware that no instruments are provided. As there is limited performance time we will not be
able to allow setup of large instruments like drums etc. You can bring any small instruments with
minimal setup (ie guitars, flute, keyboards etc).
4. For Comedians/magicians/jugglers, as you will have limited time please prepare the best part of your
routine. If your act requires music please bring a CD copy.
5. Dangerous props (such as swords, knives, fire, etc.) are strictly prohibited during the competition. General
props are allowed. If the stage is littered during the routine, it is the responsibility of the performer/s to
clean up immediately after the routine is finished.
6. Early submission of entry is encouraged. All competing performer/groups and their coach-teachers, must
register on or before July 14, 2017 (Friday). No entries will be accepted after the deadline or on the day
of competition. Please attach to the entry photocopy of students school ID.
7. All performances must be suitable for family (general patronage) viewing. Displays of violence, social
prejudice, or those which are sexually suggestive are deemed inappropriate. In addition, age-
inappropriate choreography, costumes and / or music will result to 20 points deduction or
disqualification as deemed by the judges.
8. Taped music must be cued. It is highly recommended that contestants bring back up music in the event of
a malfunction of the original CD/Cassette tape submitted.
9. All routines must be limited to 3-6 minutes. Performers must be ready to perform thirty minutes prior to
their scheduled performance time. If the competition is running ahead of schedule, performers are
expected to perform when called upon.
10. Decision of the judges is final. Teacher-coaches, performers and/or parents are not permitted to discuss
scoring, comments or results with judges.
11. DepEd Panabo City Division assumes no responsibility for personal injury or property loss.

1. This contest is all about bringing together food and fun in the kitchen by demonstrating how to
prepare a creative snacks recipe.
4. PARTICIPANTS TO THIS CONTEST ARE THE GRADE 6 STUDENTS OF both PUBLIC AND PRIVATE
SCHOOLS. AT LEAST TWO ENTRY PER DISTRICT FOR THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
5. Deadline of Submission of entry is on July 14, 2017. Please attach to the entry photocopy of
student’s ID. Look for Lea Jane Madulin Of SGOD Department. No entry will be accepted after
the deadline.

PAINTING CONTEST
PARTICIPANTS : GRADE 9 STUDENTS FROM INTERESTED PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS

LAYOUT : PORTRAIT
TIME ALLOTMENT : 2 HOURS
MEDIUM : PAINT (USE OF MARKERS FOR OUTLINE IS PROHIBITED)
PREPARABLY LATEX PAINT
1. The painting contest is an individual event coming from the Grade 9 class. One entry for interested
schools.
3. Participants shall bring their own materials, including the illustration board to be used. Markers
are not allowed. Borrowing of materials from other participants is not permitted.
4. Each output shall be identified by their entry number, not by the name of the participants or their
School.
5. Submission of entry per school will be on July 14, 2017, at SGOD Department. Please look for Ms. Lea
Jane Madulin. No entries will be accepted after the deadline.
7. The contest will be on July 24, 2017, day before the launching of the career caravan at exactly 9:00
a.m. at Aboitiz Building.
