TFTP and HTTP Server Functions
 Software and Firmware upgrades
TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol) and HTTP (web service) are used to upgrade
the software of the IP Office and its devices and all phones.

 The IP Office 500…

…can perform the file transfer services if the flash card has been installed and if
the corresponding software bin files have been copied to it.

 The Manager…
….also provides the servers if it is active on a PC. The bin files are loaded in the
Manager’s PC in the manager folder by default.

 Other TFTP and HTTP servers

It is also possible to use other servers in the customer network to upgrade the
software.

Note:
Setup can also be performed using the IP Office Wizard
