Kshs.100,000 for charity.

Duties & Responsibilities:


 Ensuring that the welfare of students is taken care of not only
educationally but also in their extra curricula
 Organizing events and activities that involves the student population in
order to achieve the various aims of the university

 Ensuring proper dissemination of information from the Student Affairs


department to the students

 Overseeing and assisting during Orientation week.

 Invigilating placement exams for the incoming students

 Working closely with the Transport department, the clubs coordinator and
student affairs department in order to arrange transportation for the
various clubs, societies and organizations.

 Managing the transport accounts for the Student Council as well as for the
clubs and societies within the university.

 Ensuring that the outsourced transport provider acts according to the


stipulated terms and conditions indicated in the contract.

 Authorizing posters and notices to be put up on the notice boards with


accordance to the school PR department.

 Working closely with the Student Affairs Department to ensure that


through my duties and responsibilities as the welfare representative that
we are working towards the University’s mission and vision.

MANAGING DIRECTOR – ASK PROJECT
Duties & Responsibilities:
 Working in an Issue-Based Project that focused on the UN Millennium
Developmental Goals.
 Was in a team of 8 that planned and implemented the project in 6 months
and reached a target group of 300 children in 3 months.

 Ensured that our Local Chapter stakeholders such as the various schools,
the sponsors and our university as well were directly or indirectly
involved in the project. We brought in 8 schools on board; 10 Exchange
Students; 1 NGO and 1 Sponsor
 Checking the AIESEC database for interested exchange participants and
looking at their skills to ensure they are a perfect match for the project.
