They held an online orientation for faculty and created a technical working group to plan and implement the program. This included distributing dental kits to parents of students, instructing parents on monitoring daily tooth brushing, and integrating oral health into lessons. As a result of these efforts, students became more aware of oral hygiene and improved their health, with 100% of students in grades 7-12 receiving dental kits to encourage regular brushing.

    in DENTAL HEALTH CARE
    S.Y 2020 – 2021

     Conducted an online with the faculty members via Zoom for the implementation
    of School Dental Health Care Program (SDHCP) and the School Based Tele-
    Dentistry Program “Project BEAM” (Brush Every After Meal)
     Created Technical Working Group (TWG) for the implementation of the SDHCP
    who are responsible in the:
     preparation of the launching program
     tapping possible donors, partners, stakeholders and volunteer for
    the successful implementation of the program.
     Launch the SDHCP Activities
     Distribution of Dental Kits to Parents of the beneficiary students.
     Instructed the parents in monitoring the daily tooth brushing at
    home using the school- based tooth brushing monitoring tool.
     Monthly monitoring was conducted.
     Integration of Oral Health Concept in the lesson.
     Outcome/ Impact of the SDHCP
     Students became aware on their oral hygiene that leads in the
    improvement of their health.
     Approximately 100% students for Grade 7- Grade 12 were provided
    dental health kits, thus encouraging them to brush their teeth
    regularly.
