Project Working.
In this simulation there are some hospitals in Multan like Nishtar hospital ,Children hospital,
Nawaz sharif hospital .The electricity is provided to each hospital through feeders .One is
running feeder and other is stand by feeder. If there is a problem in running feeder then stand by
feeder is connected for power supply .This is connected by Magnetic breaker and also used for
peotection of 2 lines .Might become line to line fault and all over system collapse .So here the
breakers and isolators are used .Similarly in case of both feeders fails then generators are used as
per department.
Working of Components used in Project
Working of Buses/Bus-Bar
It is conductor or a group of conductor used for collecting electric power from the incoming
feeders and distributes them to the outgoing feeders. In other words, it is a type of electrical
junction in which all the incoming and outgoing electrical current meets. Thus, the electrical bus
bar collects the electric power at one location. The bus bar system consists the isolator and the
circuit breaker. On the occurrence of a fault
Working of Transformers
A distribution transformer is also known as a typical kind of isolation transformer. The main
function of this transformer is to alter the high voltage to the normal voltage like 240/120 V to
use in electric power distribution.
This transformer changes from high voltage electricity to low voltage electricity, used in
homes & businesses.
The main function of this is to step down the voltage to provide isolation between two
windings like primary & secondary
This transformer distributes the power to remote areas which are generated from the
power plants
Generally, this transformer distributes the electrical energy to industries with less voltage
under 33KV and 440volts to 220volts for domestic purposes.
The different types of high voltage circuit breakers which include the following
The electrical load devices that are used in industry, in our homes, and in commercial buildings
are very important parts of electrical power systems. The load of any system performs a function
that involves power conversion. A load converts one form of energy to another form. An
electrical load converts electrical energy to some other form of energy, such as heat, light, or
mechanical energy. Electrical loads may be classified according to the function that they perform
(lighting, heating, mechanical), or by the electrical characteristics that they exhibit (resistive,
inductive, capacitive).
