1. Safety

Please note the following safety guidelines in use:

1.1 Ensure that power is off in the process of installation and

replacement of power meter so as to avoid electric shock.

1.2 By the current transformer access, ensure that the current

transformer power source side if off or the secondary side is

short circuit in the process of installation and replacement of

power meter. The transformer open circuit high voltage

endangers personal safety or burns the current transformer.

1.3 Make sure that the terminal screws can be securely tightened when

the meter is installed. If the entry cable is loose, there will be a

risk of overheating and even fire in entry cable and power

terminal.

1.4 Avoid water in the transportation, installation and use of power

meter, otherwise short-circuit may be caused.

1.5 Avoid dropping the meter or any kind of falling in the

transportation, installation and use of power meter, otherwise

internal damage or short circuit may be caused.

1.6 The internal part of power meter is connected with high-voltage

cable, thus non-professionals mustn’t turn on the meter when the

power is on or there can be a risk of electric shock.

2. Comprehensive introduction
2.1 Overview
DTZYB01/02-M-type energy meter is a new generation of
high-precision three-phase multi-function meter developed by our
company with active and reactive power time measurement, data
processing, event recording, load recording, automatic control,
information interaction function, which uses of large-screen LCD display
to facilitate reading data and provides infrared and remote communication
interface to facilitate remote computer management of the power sector.
This meter uses a variety of hardware and software anti-jamming
measures and redundant design and is produced by using the large scale
integrated circuit and SMT manufacturing technology. An International-
famous-brand and long-life device is selected for key components so that
the energy meter can be equipped with high reliability and longer
operating life.
The power meter is applicable to high and low voltage power
metering and power management.
Its performance indicators are in line with

2.4 Working principle
The meter consists of voltage step-down circuit, current transformer,
high-precision special measurement and measurement unit, main control
chip, wide-angle wide temperature LCD display, automatic temperature
compensation real-time clock, data storage, communication interface,
output interface and power supply circuit.
ABC three-phase voltage and current are led into through meter
terminal. The voltage step-down circuit, the current through the current
transformer into the high-precision special-purpose metering chip analog
signals will be converted to digital signals and integrated operations to be
accurate active and reactive energy. The main control chip communicates
with the metering chip through the data bus to obtain the data quantity for
data processing, and obtains various events such as total energy, time
charge energy, demand, power factor and automatically judge loss voltage
and loss current. The result is stored in Data storage module to provide
the required information at any time to the external interface. The main
control chip is also responsible for the clock, communication interface,
switch on/off, LCD display and other control. Power supply circuit is
responsible for all components to provide a stable power and power
management.
