1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 General
The Hari Field is part of the South Jambi B PSC (Production Sharing Contract), located in South
of Jambi Province. The production field that has been developed are Teluk Rendah Field and
Geger Kalong Field. Production from the wells is delivered to the Teluk Rendah Gas Plant for
gas treatment prior export to Sakernan Gas Station via 10 inch Sales Gas Pipeline. The field
operation has been stopped since 2012.
Jindi South Jambi B Co. Ltd. plans to develop Hari Field with t (8) new production well and new
Geger Kalong #5 well at Geger Kalong Field. The development plan will be including the re-
activation of Teluk Rendah Gas Plant.
Nevertheless, this project of Scope of Works (SOW) i.e. Engineering, Procurement, Construction
and Installation (EPCI) will be limited for Hari Field development which consists of Hari-1 wellsite,
Hari#2 wellsite and flowlines.
The plan development for the production wells of Hari field are divided into two (2) group; Group
1 are Hari-1, and future wells (Hari-3, Hari- 6 and Hari-7) while Group 2 are Hari-2, and future
wells ( Hari-4, Hari-5 and Hari-8).
New 6 inch underground main flowline approximately 12 km will be installed start from Group 1
gathering manifold at Hari #1 Wellsite area to Teluk Rendah Gas Plant. . Group-2 Gathering
Manifold which is located at Hari-2 wellsite area will be commingle with 6 inch main flowline from
Group-1. The main flowline is equipped with pig launcher/receiver for pipeline cleaning or
maintenance purpose.
1.2 Objectives
This objective of this report is to design the foundation and structure of typical pipe support.

The general structural materials to be used for the work shall be in accordance with the following
requirements unless otherwise noted on the drawings.
3.1 Quality of Material
a. Concrete design strength (structural concrete, f’c) = 28 MPa
b. Concrete design strength (lean concrete, f’c) = 14 MPa
c. Rebar Steel (SNI or equivalent, f’y) = 390 MPa
d. Steel Structural (JIS or ASTM A 36 or equivalent, f’y) = 235 MPa
3.2 Cement
- ASTM C 150 or equivalent
- Type I cement (general use) shall be used for all above grade and underground concrete
works
3.3 Grouting

1.1.5 Piping Load (P)
The values from PSA output are applied to the steel structure as follows:
Piping Load Empty
Piping Load Ope
Piping Load Test
1.2 Load Combination
All structural member must be designed based on some load combination below. The critical condition will be used to determine member
size of the structure.
1.3 Structure Analysis
1.3.1 Support Reaction
For supporting end of column, the structure model using fixe so the reaction that occurs in the end of column are vertical force (Y),
Horizontal force (X & Z), and Moment.
This following reaction will be used as input data for foundation design (for stability foundation).

From moment diagram above, the designed pedestal can withstand Pult and Mult.
- Shear Reinforcement of Pedestal
Vc (concrete strength)
Vc = (1+((Nu/14*Ag))*(f'c^0,5/6)*(b*d)
Nu = 1.9 kN
2
14*Ag = 2.2 m
f'c = 28 MPa
b = 0.4 m
d = 0.3 m
Vc = 98530.1 Newton
= 98.53 kN
Dimension requirement
Vu<0.5 ØVc No reinforcement required
0,5 ØVc<Vu<ØVc use minimum reinforcement
(Vu - ØVc )< 0.67bwd√fc' pedestal dimension ok, if not, dimension need to be made larger
Vult. = 0.06 kN
*Vc = 73.90 kN
0,5**Vc = 36.95 kN
0.67bwd√fc' = 472.94 kN
Thus,
Vu<0.5 ØVc No reinforcement required
Thus,
