b. Potential Customer

The potential customers of our business are those people who like to eat sweets

like kids, teenagers and adults. The target customers of our business are everyone since

the price of our product is just affordable. We make sure that all customers will be able to

buy this and be satisfied with the taste of our product. The number of customers we target

everyday are 50-150 people, including those people who will order online. Day by day,

the number of customers we'll have will be more than 150 since the product we produce

will be upgraded. We also prioritize those people who will order online since we have

pandemic now and most of the people are not allowed to go outside.

c. Market Value
Jolly Bites sell sweet potato chocolate balls for php45 for 6 pieces. We sell

it to our customers who love to eat sweets but a lot of nutrients. In Malinta, the

market value in a year is about php 240,000, for a reason that Malinta has a lot of

schools and for sure there are a lot of customers who love to eat sweets. In

Maysan, our second choice, the market value there in a year is about Php 480,000.

There are a lot of customers in establishments, schools and other factories. Our

market is the one who loves to eat sweets, so we are open to everyone.

B. Target Market

Our target customers are the one who love to eat sweets, since Jolly Bites sell sweet

potato chocolate balls. We are open to everyone, no age or gender preferences, our target

customers will surely love our sweet potato chocolate ball since it is not just chocolate but it's

also nutritious, it is rich in an antioxidant called beta carotene, which is very effective at

raising blood levels of vitamin A, high in fiber, very filling, and delicious. Chocolate does

contain some iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium as well as vitamin E and B vitamins.

The benefits of sweet potato chocolate balls can contain 283 percent of the amount of

Vitamin A you need to consume daily. Vitamin A is great for your vision, bones and skin,

and helps strengthen your immune system.

C. Market Need

To gain potential investors in our company, Jolly Bites will find suitable investors to

our company, these investors should know the rules and regulations in investing in our

company, like they should know the what our business is, avoid herd mentally, keep realistic
expectations and have a disciplined approach, with these rules and regulations we assure that

they are in a good company. Our products will be loved by everyone since they will not

worry for their health since Jolly Bites sell nutritious products or foods. Jolly Bites is a

partnership, a type of business. To gain or attract customers we will distribute flyers, will

post a poster in front of our company, and we'll also use social media to attract customers. In

these strategies we'll have customers.

D. Competition

Godiva is a company, which is located in both Belgium and the United States that

coffee, tea and chocolate are the main products offered. One of the strengths of Godiva is the

quality of their products, their chocolate truffles have a consistency in a way that they melt in

the mouths of consumers. They have a strong reputation and their products are globally

known. It is notable that Godiva has some considerable weaknesses, some of them are the

way they promote or advertise their product. They used aged and grandmothers for their

advertising not knowing that the young people are the biggest consumers of chocolates. Also,

the price of their product is quite high and a lot of people can’t afford it.

Leonidas has a wide segment of chocolate in the industry. They have a large variety

of products and it has special tastes which differentiates with another high-end brand.

Leonidas also adds new products to its assortment and have new flavors or make a themed

based chocolate. Leonidas also has some weaknesses. It is also the price of their product. It is

costly but Godiva’s chocolate is pricier. Their product can’t be stock for a long time and it

should be thrown away after two weeks.

There are different factors that prevent us from starting our business. First is the

financial aspect. Starting a company costs money, and most people don't have that kind of

cash on hand. It's better to launch a business if you have enough money. You could start

putting money aside right now to start your business. Next factor is having no idea in starting

a business. You can't start a company unless you have a good idea for a product or service to

sell. You won't be able to persuade investors or partners to join you if you don't have a good

business plan and you won't know where to start without one. Another factor is the refusal of

having stress or hard work. It takes a lot of work to start and run a business. You'll most

likely be working long hours and struggling with difficult situations. Furthermore, the first

few years are likely to be extremely erratic, with the company only making a profit

occasionally. This can have a negative impact on your finances as well as your mental health.
