    Installation Instructions for the SeisImager Suite of Software:

    SeisImager/2D, SeisImager/DH, SeisImager/SW, SeisImager/AT

    The SeisImager installer is available (1) for trial evaluation of the packages, (2) for purchase, rental, or updating one of the packages,
    or (3) with purchase of an ES-3000, SmartSeis ST, Geode, or StrataVisor NZ seismograph, which all include the Lite version of
    SeisImager/2D, and the Atom, which includes SeisImager/AT.

    SeisImager is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 and 10, and Chrome and Edge. Note that you must have Administrator
    rights to install the software. After installation by an Administrator, users with lower level privileges can use the software. Also, to
    register or change the registration, your PC must be connected to the internet; once registered, the software can be used without an
    internet connection.

    1.0 Installation Instructions


    1. Download the installer SeisImager_0721.msi (or the most current version) using the Download Software button at the
    webpage www.geometrics.com/software or copy to your PC from a Geometrics Seismic USB flash drive (P/N 820-00756-01).
    2. If a previous version of SeisImager is already installed, uninstall the software through Windows > Settings > Apps > Apps &
    Features.
    3. Open SeisImager_0721.msi. The Welcome to the SeisImager Setup Wizard will appear. Click Next, indicate the directory for
    installation (the default folder is recommended), select for which users the software should be installed (the default Everyone
    is recommended), and click Next and Next.
    4. If SeisImager Registration detects your existing registration, it will report SeisImager is already registered and there is
    nothing more to do, click Complete registration and Close the installer. If you are upgrading to add a package to an existing
    registration, do not click Complete registration and go to step 5.
    If an existing registration is not detected, SeisImager Registration will appear. Refer to your order acknowledgement or
    invoice pdf for your registration ID. Copy and paste the registration ID shown on the order pdf into SeisImager Registration
    and click Register. The registered package(s) will be reported, click OK, Exit, and Close the installer.
    If you need to look up your registration ID, go to www.seisimager.com/registration, enter your order number, and click Find
    registration ID. Copy and paste the registration ID shown on the webpage into SeisImager Registration and click Register.
    The registered package(s) will be reported, click OK, Exit, and Close the installer.
    If your PC is not connected to the internet or the registration ID process is not working, in SeisImager Registration, select I do
    not have a registration ID. Send the keyword shown to [email protected] with your order number. Geometrics will
    reply with a password to enable the applicable package(s). To return to SeisImager Registration to enter the password, go to
    Windows > SeisImager > SeisImager Registration and click View or change registration.
    5. If you are upgrading to add a package to an existing registration, instead of Complete registration, click View or change
    registration. Refer to your order acknowledgement or invoice pdf for your updated registration ID. Copy and paste the
    updated registration ID shown on the order pdf into SeisImager Registration and click Register. The registered packages will
    be reported, click OK, Exit, and Close the installer.
    6. If you are using SeisImager/AT or using the software on a trial basis without a registration ID or password, click Exit to close
    SeisImager Registration. When you launch the modules, the number of runtimes available will be reported, click OK and
    continue to use the software in Atom or demo mode.
    7. The SeisImager manuals, tutorials, and example datasets may be downloaded using the Documentation button at the bottom
    of the webpages www.geometrics.com/software/seisimager-2d, www.geometrics.com/software/seisimager-dh, and
    www.geometrics.com/software/seisimager-sw (also for SeisImager/AT documentation), or copied from the Geometrics
    Seismic USB flash drive.

    2.0 Getting Started


    1. Once installed, the software modules can be opened directly through the desktop icons or through links in Windows >
    SeisImager.

    SeisImager/2D consists of Pickwin and Plotrefa. SeisImager/DH consists of Pickwin and PSLog. SeisImager/SW-1D consists
    of Pickwin and WaveEq. SeisImager/SW-2D consists of Pickwin, WaveEq, and GeoPlot. SeisImager/SW Plus, Pro, -3C, and
    -3D consist of Pickwin, WaveEq, SPACPlus, and GeoPlot. The Surface Wave Analysis Wizard is not a separate module but
    automatically calls on specific functions from Pickwin, WaveEq, and GeoPlot to walk you through the analysis process.
    SeisImager/AT includes Atom-related functions in a limited version of SPACPlus. All of the icons will be shown regardless of
    which package(s) have been purchased or will be used.
