1. Tell me about yourself.
- It is a pleasure to be here madam or sir. Thank you for giving me the chance to formally introduce
myself to you. I’m Pauline R. Serrano,22 years old, and I’m a recent graduate of PNPA academy.
Once I heard about your company’s job offer, I did not hesitate to pass an application form. I know
with my skills, talent, and competencies, I can help the company to reach the required standards for a
successful run every year.

2. What kind of working environment are you expecting in this company?

- I’m an adaptable and flexible person. I can work in groups and individual where happiness,
teamwork, positivity and cooperative systems are present within one another. Thus, any type of
working environment is indeed a match in my capabilities.

3. What benefit are we expecting from you?

- I assure to give high quality service and competence for the needs of the company. I am greatly
confident to say that with my skill, I can contribute meaningfully to the mission and vision of this
company.

Helping the Community- Before I was able to join the girl scout, and we’ve conducted a clean-up
drive and tree planting activities.
Physical Challenge, Competition and Working with Others - When I was in Junior High school, I
joined the futsal team of our school. We’ve competed at the district and provincial levels. And thank
God for guiding us to win the district and provincial level for three consecutive years.
Working Alone and Being Independent, Change, Variety and Fast Pace and Work Under
Pressure – My teacher gave me a task, and she asked me to pass the document after an hour
because she needs the document as soon as possible.
Making Decisions and Creativity- I was assigned as the group leader, and our group must accomplish
the project within that week. It took me hours to think of a creative concept. After hours of constructing
ideas, I shared my ideas with the group. In the end, we’ve created an outstanding output.

Influencing People, Supervision, Time Freedom and Precision Work- Our research adviser gave
us a lot of time to work on our group research. And our group has decided to do the research paper as
early as possible. And I was assigned to check the work of my groupmates to avoid repetition of writing
papers.
Knowledge and Work Mastery- To improve my acting skills, I joined the theater group in school.

-All work values or competencies are connected to my career plans.

-Yes, because being aware of my skills, competencies, strength and weaknesses will allow me to
choose and be on the right career path that matches my abilities.

2. How do you feel while doing the activities (MCDP Tools 2 and 3)? What can you say about the
results of the activities?
- I feel proud and happy about remembering my achievements before. It gave me a realization to
continue improving such skills to develop my individuality. Doing this activity enables me to know
myself even more and reminds me of things I used to do that I must continue.

Share your Thoughts & Feelings

I strongly believe in the saying: “You change the world by being yourself.” by Yoko Ono.

I cannot be myself if I was acting to be like others. Before, I experienced difficulties expressing and
knowing what was meant and right for me. I do not have the strength to reveal and share my plans as
I was afraid to be judged and make them disappointed in my preferences and desires. Thus, all I do is
to follow and obey them. And honestly, doing things against my desires doesn’t give me a positive
impact in my personality.

But now that I have the courage to pursue my dreams, I was able to discover and express myself
more. I threw away the fear inside me and decided to choose what suits my skills and capabilities. With
self-motivation and encouragement, I was able to develop my writing, verbal, mental, emotional, and
social skills or aspects in life. Such development helped me to choose the right track for my unique
abilities.

I am proud to say that I am competent, flexible, innovative, creative, optimistic, and bold. I am proud
of who I am today and I will change the world by being true about myself.
