l. The Department of Fducation (DepEd) issued DepEd Memorandum No. 410, s.

Tloc Coarclouracrl ead HonG.tyl to strengthen the values of punctuality and
honesty in the Department. This is pursuant to Administrative Order No. 255, and
Presidential Proclamation No.l782 titled Declaring the Month of June as W.A.T.C.H.
Month.
2, The major goal of the W.A.T.C.H. program is to push forward the recognition of
punctuality and hones$r as two core values in promoting renewal arrd development.
3. All W.A.T.C.H. implementers shall include t-l.e logos of Project W.A.T.C.H.,
DepEd, and JCI Senate Philippines in all their activities and marketing collaterals,
including backdrops, posters, among otJrer materials.
4, All W.A.T.C.H. advocates are enjoined to adopt another school to become a
W.A.T.C.H. implementer. The adoptive school shall guide the adopted school in
creating/organizing a W.A.T.C.H. Club and shall assist in the conduct of the adopted
school's trainings and activities. The adoptive school and the adopted school shall
execute a document mentioning the adoption and shall be signed by the school heads
of both schools as the adoptive school and adopted school. A special award shall be
given to the top tlree adoptive schools.

5. An award shall be given to the top three lIGr lnplcacntcr.. A school, which
had joined in tJre previous selections for the lfetloael Scrrch for thG (rutrt ndtng
W.A.T.C.H. Schoolr, but had not joined any selection after 2016 may quali$ for this
award.

6. DepEd, together with the Junior Chamber Intemational (JCI) Seaate

Philippines, has set the schedule of activities for tJte 2O2L W.A.T.C.H. implementation

Clubs and other accomplishments in preparation for the 2O2l National Search for the
Outstanding W.A.T.C.H. Schools. Entries should include the following:

a. Updated W.A.T.C.H. Logo (Enclosure No. 1),

b. Entry Form (Enclosure No. 2),
c. Consent to the Use of Personal/Sensitive Personal Information
(Enclosure No. 3), and
d. EBook Report-The content of the said report shall follow
the gu.idelines contained in Enclosure No. 4,
i. Vldco Docurcatrtloa should be in the form of a five-minute
W.A.T.C.H. audio video presentation (AVP) in MP4 format. The
content of the said video should follow the guidelines contained in
Enclosure No. 4.
ii. Supporting documents must be uploaded to tJ:e olEcial JCI website.
iii. In case of inability to upload online, save EBook Report to a USB
flash drive with filename: PRGTECI W.A-T.C.H. (Ifeoc of Achoolf

The Ebook Report to be submitted must show best practices a:nidst challenges
faced during tlle COMD-19 pandemic. The report must be substantiated with
supporting evidence such as certifications, pictures, programs, narrative reports
of accomplishments and video documentation.

VIDEO DOCUMEI,ITATION REQUIREMENTS

The following are the requirements on the creation and submission of the video
documentation:

1. Must show video of best practices amidst challenges faced during

COVID.f 9 pa:rdemic;
2. Must be a high-quality Audio-Visual Presentation in MP4 format;
3. Must be uploaded to tlre official JCI website. In case of inability to
upload due to lirnited accesss/connectivity, it must be saved in a
flash drive (use of CDs/DVDs is discouraged); and
4. Must not run for more than five (5) minutes.
5. Must contain shots within the prrscribcd timefra:ne: November 1,
2O2O to October 25, 2O21.
6. Must be submifted and labeled with the following information:

The W.A.T.C.H. Judging Committee will choose lO Best School Implementers

in Elementar5r and 1O Best School Implementers in High School following the set
criteria for judging. Mode of validation will be announced later by the
Validation Team subject to prevailing IATF, DOH, DepEd and LGU
rules/guidelines.
