That’s nice that you still remember all of those.

“based on the given examples in order for us to arrive
to the meaning of the word?

A text is anything that conveys a set of meanings to the


person who examines it.

For today’s lesson, I prepared some interesting game.

Are you familiar with the 4Picture 1Word?


In this game, you will have to guess for a word that is
being described by the sets of pictures to be posted on
the screen.

(The students guess the words for every set of 4Pictures.)

So the group who got it correct will receive a reward.

Discussion of the Five (5) Modes of Communication

a. Written/Oral – meaning lies on spoken and


printed language using vocabulary and grammar.
b. Visual – meaning lies on still pictures and
moving images.
c. Audio – meaning lies on music, sound effects,
noises, and silence using volume, pitch and rhythm.
d. Gestural – meaning lies on the movement of
body, hands and eyes, facial expression, and body
language.
e. Spatial – meaning lies on environmental spaces
and architectural spaces and use of proximity, direction, (The students carefully and attentively listen to the teacher.)

This time, choose the multimodal text that you like.


From the multimodal text that you chose, compose one or two
paragraphs expressing your feelings or narrating your experience
about the text/picture. By doing so, please observe the following
rubric:
