SAP Customer Checkout manager is a web application and another component when working with SAP
Customer Checkout.

Forming a basis for the central management of your POS systems in various shops, and locations, SAP
Customer Checkout manager supports you to manage vouchers, users, organizational units, roles, time
recordings, articles, price lists, drawers, receipts, software installations, sales reports, and many more in
your retail and merchandising shop, kiosks, food and beverage shop, and restaurant.

What are the technical components and
system requirements
Technical Overview

When using the SAP Customer Checkout manager, the following components are relevant:
✓ SAP Customer Checkout manager web application
The web application provides you with the central management of users, organizational units, roles, time
recordings, monitoring, monitoring reports, vouchers, receipts, receipt exports, software versions, sales reports,
articles, price lists, point of sale configurations, app users, and coupons. When using SAP Customer Checkout
standalone, the SAP Customer Checkout manager can be used as backend system.

✓ SAP Customer Checkout application


The application you install on your cash desks. It is a point of sale solution that is locally installed on your cash
desk and provides views for sales transactions, for cash-in and cash-out, cash desk closings, and cashing up.

✓ Optional: An ERP back-end system


The backend which holds the master data, for example, articles and customer data, and which is used for
accounting. You can integrate SAP Customer Checkout with an existing system of SAP ECC, SAP Business
One, or SAP Business ByDesign. When using the SAP Customer Checkout manager as backend system,
there is no further back-end system necessary.

✓ Optional: SAP Event Ticketing


The SAP Event Ticketing solution lets you generate ticket sales for your events across all sales channels. In
SAP Customer Checkout Server, you have the option to integrate with SAP Event Ticketing to authenticate
loyalty users
