Overview Junbond® JB-Z3-Mid-A+ is a one-component, neutral-curing, ready-to-use silicone

elastomer. It is suitable for weather-resistant sealing and bonding. It can be quickly cured
with moisture in the air at room temperature to form a flexible and strong seal.
Application  Junbond® JB-Z3-Mid-A+ is used for interface sealing of windows and doors, glass,
concrete and other materials with anti-pollution requirements;
 Weatherproof seal for marble curtain wall and granite curtain wall engineering；
 Sealing of cement precast works;
 Ceramic engineering adhesive sealant.

Instructions
Displacement of the sealant and local regulations must be considered. Unless otherwise required,
the ratio of seam width to depth is generally 2: 1.
Surface treatment:
All surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free of dust, oil, grease, old sealants and other
traces of contaminants that may affect adhesion. The surface should be cleaned with the "two
rags" method. First remove the oil with a cloth soaked with solvent, and then wipe it with a clean
cloth. Dust is removed by oil-free compressed air.
Primer:
For most substrates, Junbond® JB-Z3-Mid-A+ does not require a primer. Test on the surface in
question before deciding whether a primer is needed.
Operation:
In order to obtain good performance, it is important that the sealant only adheres to both sides of the
substrate. To achieve this, a backing material (closed-cell polyethylene or open-cell polyurethane
foam) is required. Use continuous sizing equipment to ensure that there are no air bubbles or voids
in the seams. Before skinning, use a spatula to lightly squeeze and trim the sealant to fill the joint
surface. Remove excess uncured sealant with a dry cloth or a cloth moistened with a solvent. The
cured sealant can only be scraped off with a spatula (ie blade), or it can be removed with a special
silicone remover.
Use restrictions：
 Junbond® JB-Z3-Mid-A+ cannot be used for structural assembly；
 Junbond® JB-Z3-Mid-A+ not suitable for frosty or wet surfaces, or in airtight places；
 Junbond® JB-Z3-Mid-A+ should not be used on the surface of all materials that can
exudate grease,plasticizers or solvents;
 Junbond® JB-Z3-Mid-A+ cannot be used for materials that react with the ketoxime
released during curing. For example: copper and its alloys
 Junbond® JB-Z3-Mid-A+ When the surface temperature of the material is lower than -
4 ° C or exceeds 40 ° C, it is not suitable for construction.
Package The packaging of Junbond® JB-Z3-Mid-A+ is 300ml * 24 cartridges / carton ;590ml * 20 sausage /
carton.
Shelf life Stored in a cool, dry environment below 27 ° C, the standard shelf life of Junbond® JB-Z3-
Mid-A+ is 12 months from the date of manufacture. Please refer to the storage recommendations
and expiration dates on the packaging. After this date, the product will no longer be guaranteed
to meet sales targets.
