OVERVIEW

PRODUCT RANGE
Quality is among the major priorities of Technopanel. We are
committed to continuous improvement of our technologies to
ensure the innovativeness of our products. The sandwich panels
manufactured by us feature excellent physical and mechanical
properties and are suitable for a wide range of applications.

The panels are completely watertight thanks to their metal

surfaces. The cores of rigid polyurethane foam (PUR) have
extremely good thermal insulation properties and the lowest
thermal conductivity of all commonly used insulation materials.
On the other hand, the mineral wool (MW) is a non-combustible
material with remarkable sound absorption properties.
The rigid polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) combines the properties
of both polyurethane and mineral wool. It demonstrates
excellent thermal insulation but with highly improved fire
resistance properties.

A RELIABLE CHOICE
Technopanel products undergo certification for fire
resistance, reaction to fire, strength, thermal insulation
properties and possible effects on the human health.
The certified parameters are subject to constant quality
control.
TFACE S When aesthetics is of the utmost importance, the best panels to choose
are TFACE S – wall sandwich panels system with secret fix.
The various profiles of the metal sheets and the lack of visible screws
on the facade make them suitable for industrial and public buildings with
modern design. TFACE S’ joint design ensures assembly of panels
with various insulation cores: PIR, PUR, MW. TFACE S facade
panels are suitable both for vertical and horizontal installation.

11

TFACE T Functional wall panels with through fix from the series TFACE T are
designed for buildings with a focus on practicality. FACE T wall panels
are suitable both for vertical and horizontal installation. The overall
tightness of the joints between TFACE T panels ensures their high
efficiency and makes them extremely suitable for refrigerator chambers
and rooms with high demands to the thermal insulation properties. The
FRIGOPANEL wall refrigerator panels, which belong to the TFACE T
line of products, have PIR and PUR insulation cores.

TTOP Roof panels TTOP are suitable for all kind insulated roofs with minimum
inclination of the slope 7%.
These ribbed panels can fully eliminate some problems, such as water
leaks and dust formation due to the precise panel fixing system where
the last rib protrudes from the panel to overlap the adjacent panel. The
core may be of polyurethane, polyisocyanurate or mineral wool to cover
the particular project specifications.

ACCESSORIES
47
POLYCARBONATE PANELS
The polycarbonate panels offered by
Technopanel are excellent solution for
making roof skylights and letting the natural
light into your building. The polycarbonate
panels have the same profile as the
Technopanel’s TTOP roof panels.
The polycarbonate panels have standard
thicknesses of 10 and 16 mm and lengths
of 6.2 and 7.3 m.

PROFILED STEEL SHEETS

Technopanel offers profiled steel sheets
with various profile heights. Profiled steel
sheets could be a good alternative to the
facade and roof panels. The profiled steel
sheets feature easy fixing system, excellent
waterproofing properties and high corrosion
resistance.
48

FLASHINGS
The Technopanel’s engineering team is
capable of developing tailor-made flashing
solutions for each individual project
compliant with the customer’s architectural
plans and requirements, so that the building
can acquire the expected external finish
and architectural appearance.
FASTENERS AND SEALING TAPES
Technopanel offers all fasteners and
insulating butyl and profiled PE tapes
necessary for the proper fixing of the high
quality thermal panels.

ACCESSORIES FOR REFRIGERATOR CHAMBERS

In addition to high quality sandwich
refrigerator panels, Technopanel offers
quality PVC sanitary corner profiles and
refrigerated doors, manufactured by use
of highly efficient advanced technologies
ensuring the excellent quality of the
finished products.
49

PIR BOARDS
The PIR insulation boards have rigid
polyisocyanurate foam core lined on both
sides with aluminum foil or fiberglass paper.
They are extremely suitable for insulation
of flat roofs, floors, ceilings, suspended
ventilated facade systems, etc.

INSTALATION GUIDELINES
During the installation of the panels there are often
trimming operations on site needed. In those cases the
following must be taken into account:

they are firmly in place and not liable to wobble as they are

surface they will corrode and cause rust staining, which is
undesirable especially if the paint color is bright.

and must not damage the panel surface. For this reason,
it is suggested that the cutting be done using a disk saw
rather than a cutting wheel, with suitable guides for the
best cutting line. Moreover, the disk saws must be of high
quality to avoid damage to the cutting surface.

where the following conditions are preset: The panels should be mounted as tightly as possible and
no air space in the longitudinal joint between two adjacent
panels should be allowed.
OVERLAPPING AND CONNECTIONS
ON THE ROOF
To prevent water ponding you should comply with the
requirements for a minimum gradient of the slope as
follows:
rNJO 0) – for roofs of continuous panels without
transverse joining and skylights.
rNJO 0) – for roofs of joint panels or with
skylights.

Silicone sealant and butyl tape should be apllied

in the joint between roof panels.

When overlapping is required or there is a low slope
