ROLE PLAY

Terminal Patient Role Play and Nearing Death

Patient : Herdin
Family : Rahma
Nurses : Annisa

Doctor : Fadhilla

STORYLINE :
(In a hospital there is a PT who suffers from cervical cancer, and has been sentenced by
a doctor that his life is not long, nurses and doctors examine the patient)

Scene One
Doctor : Hello Mr, Herdin. how are you feeling? What do you feel?

Patient : I feel very weak doc .

Doctor : You are strong, sir, I will check first, excuse me.
Doctor : OK, I've done an examination, sir, please write it down
nurse .

Nurse : Ok doc

Doctor : Then I'll excuse myself, ma'am.

Family : Yes, thank you doc, nurse
Dokter : come on mom come with me

In the doctor's room

Doctor : The condition of the Father’s child has begun to weaken because of
him illness. So, Father has to open up him chest about what will
happen later, because the medicine we give is no longer giving any
effect.
Family : (surrendered)
Doctor : Sus, please help to accompany the patient

Nurse : Ok doc

SCENE 2:
After leaving the nurse’s room, the mother returned to the patient’s room (Nurses and
patients' families visit patients)
Patient : What's wrong mom? What did the doctor say?
Family : The doctor said that your life was not long, myhusband’s disease
could not be cured.
Patient : No way , lying , where is the nurse ?

Even hearing about this the patient shows a near-death stage (STAGE BEFORE
DEATH)
Patient : (rejects) the nurse is lying, you must be wrong, this is impossible, I
don't want to die yet!!

Nurse : you’ve been patient. Yes, we’ve done everything possible for you
recovery.

Patient : (angry) No!! No way!!

Nurse : You of all people. There’s still the god that defines a person’s life.
Patient : (bargain) sus, what can we do to get better

Nurse : yes, Mis, you must trust the god tools and medicines are being prepared
for you recovery.
Patient : (depressed) Get out all of you!!
Nurse : How we are out from here we pray before.

Patient : (Silent)
Family : Ok nurse , we should pray first in case a miracle will come to us

SCENE 3:

(After a few weeks later the patient's condition was getting weaker, and helpless the
nurse who treated the patient saw that the patient had muscle weakness, etc.)
At the time of the patient's breathing pain, the mother cried hysterically seeing the
patient's condition, and finally the choice of her life game.
Doctor : Patient Mr. Herdin has passed away , on May 19 , 2022 , 07.30 AM .
Family : (crying hysterically) daddy ..... this is impossible, why did you leave so
soon.....
Doctor : My condolences, may you be given fortitude, and given broad sincerity

Family : Yes doc, thank you very much

Nurse : (inalilahi wa inalilahi rojiun) the nurse enters and bathes the patient and
covers the white cloth,

Naskah tentang Pasien Terminal dan Menjelang Ajal

ALUR CERITA :
(Disebuah RS ada seorang perempuan yang menderita penyakit Kanker serviks , dan
telah divonis dokter bahwa hidupnya tidak lama lagi, perawat dan dokter memeriksa
pasien)

Adegan Satu
Dokter : Hallo Pak Herdin , bagaimana perasaannya ? Apa yg
dirasakan ?

Pasien : Saya merasa sangat lemas dok .

Dokter : Yang kuat ya Pak , sebelumnya saya periksa dulu ya , permisi ya .

Dokter : Baik sudah saya lakukan pemeriksaan , sus tolong di catat ya .

Perawat : baik dok
Dokter : kalau begitu saya permisi dulu ya bu .
Keluarga : iya terimakasih dok , sus .

Dokter : mari ibu ikut saya

Di ruangan dokter
Dokter : keadaan suami ibu sudah mulai melemah karena penyakit nya. jadi
ibu harus melapangkan dada jika apa yang akan terjadi nanti, karena
obat yg kami berikan sudah tidak memberikan efek apapun lagi .
Keluarga : (pasrah )
Dokter : sus , mohon bantuan untuk mendampingi pasien

Perawat : Baik dok

ADEGAN 2:

Setelah dari ruangan perawat ibu kembali ke ruangan pasien.

(Perawat Dan keluarga pasien mengunjungi pasien)
Pasien : Ada apa ma ? Apa kata dokter ?

Keluarga : Dokter bilang hidup ayah sudah tidak lama lagi , penyakit ayah sudah
tidak dapat disembuhkan .

Pasien : Tidak mungkin , bohong , mana perawat nya ?

Mendengar akan hal itu pun pasien menunjukkan sikap tahap menjelang ajal
(TAHAP MENJELANG AJAL )
Pasien : (menolak) suster berbohong , pasti kalian salah vonis , ini tidak
mungkin , saya belum mau mati !!
Perawat : Pak yang sabar trus ya kami sudah berusaha semaksimal mngkin
untuk kesembuhan Bapak
Pasien : (marah ) Tidak!! Tidak mungkin!!

Perawat : bapak yang sabar masih ada tuhan yang menentukan hidup matinya
seseorang

Pasien : (menawar) sus , apa yang bisa kita lakukan supaya bisa sembuh ?
Perawat : iya mbak serahkan saja sma yang diatas .. obat dan alat kami sudah
upayakan untuk kesembuhan bapak
Pasien : (depresi )Keluar kalian semua !!

Perawat : bagaimana kalo sebelum keluar kita berdoa dulu..

Pasien : (Diam)

Keluarga : Baik sus , ada baiknya kita berdoa terlebih dahulu siapa tahu akan ada
keajaiban yang datang kepada kami .

ADEGAN 3 :

(Setelah beberapa minggu kemudian keadaan pasien semakin lemah , dan tak berdaya
perawat yang merawat pasien melihat bahwa pasienmengalami kelemahan otot,dan lain)

Pada sore itu nafas pasien terengah-engahh ,ibu menangis histeris melihat keadaan
pasien, dan akhirnya pasien mengakhiri pertandingan hidupnya,

Dokter : telah meninggal dunia pasien Herdin , pada tnggal 19 Mei 2022 JAM
07.30
Keluarga : (menangis histeris) ayah ....... ini tidak mungkin , kenapa ayah pergi
secepat ini .....
Dokter : Saya turut berduka , semoga Ibu di berikan ketabahan , serta diberikan
keikhlasan yang luas
Keluarga : Iya dok , terimakasih banyak

Perawat : (inalilahi wa inalilahi rojiun ) perawat lain masuk dan memandikan

pasien
