points where these lines meet the y-axis.

Determine the co-ordinates of the vertices of the triangle formed by
these lines and the x-axis . Also shade the triangular region.
Q23) The sum of 2 natural numbers is 8 and the sum of their reciprocals
is 8/15 . Find the numbers.

Q24) The sum of the digits of a 2 digit number is 9. Also 9 times this
number is twice the number obtained by reversing the order of the
digits. Find the number.

25) If 1 is added to both the numerator and denominator of a given


fraction , the fraction becomes 4/5. If however , 5 is subtracted from both
the numerator and denominator , the fraction becomes ½ . Find the
fraction.
