Status Reports & associated KPI’s.
 Provide support to the Instrument Technical Authority regarding the competency
assurance process for discipline technician’s where appropriate.
 Manages 3rd party Instrument equipment support contracts as delegated by the
Instrument Technical Authority.
 Carries out maintenance and spares reviews where required.
 Provides technical support to loss investigations, root cause investigations and action
follow up activities where directed.
 Ensures all temporary or permanent modifications are technically assessed, meet
appropriate standards and correctly endorsed. Attends factory acceptance tests as
required.
 Carries out routine maintenance history reviews within Instrument Equipment
ensuring forward plans are established for identified equipment performance gaps
(KPI’s, history, trends, backlogs etc.).
 Participates in incident investigations to determine the root cause, ensures actions
resulting from investigations are resolved within the given time frames and that Safety
Critical Elements are designed, installed and maintained to ensure that the items are fit
for purpose.
 Carries out routine offshore visits, performing safety and technical site audits.
 Supports routine Safety Case Updates.
 Deputies for Instrument Technical Authority as required and directed.
 Ability to problem solves PLC code and complex field bus IO and SCADA systems.
 Ability to understand flow of processes and P&ID Drawing.
 Understanding of Industrial communication protocols like ProfiBus, ProfiNet, Ether
CAT, Ethernet IP, ASI valve communication and demonstrable ability to problem
solve those systems.
 Experience Reading and Updating Electrical and Controls Schematics and
Documentation, SOP’s.
 Experience of commissioning special purpose machinery.

 Automation of Milk Silo Agitator in order to reduce power consumption by saving power.
 Integration of Ghee Boiler Duct Exhaust Fan with Agitator to save energy.
 Automation of Exhaust Fan with Respect to room temperature for the purpose of
energy saving.
 Automation of Pre-Stratification tank by using level sensor to minimize the loss of
Products due to overflow of Tank, and to reduce manpower.
 Automation of Refrigeration cooling tower fan based on condenser outlet temperature
using VF Drive to reduce power consumption.
 Boiler 8 ton coal feeder based on steam pressure using PID controller to reduce coal
consumption and power savings.
 Cold room fan unit and Liquid level controller based on room temperature using
temperature controller to reduce the power consumption.
