1: LOCAL BARANGAY HEALTH CENTER


1. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
A 1200 SQ. M. LAND WITH A SLOPE OF 4% TOWARDS THE ROAD IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF
SUBIC IS GOING TO BE DEVELOPED BY THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AS A (GI) LOCAL
BARANGAY HEALTH CENTER FOR SITIO CALAPANDAYAN.
2. PROJECT SITE FEATURES
THE PROJECT SITE IS A RECTANGULAR INSIDE LOT MEASURING 1200 SQ. M. WITH A 20.00
METERS PRINCIPAL FRONT FACING A 9.00 METER WIDE RROW WITH A 1.20 METER WIDE
SIDEWALK WHICH GIVES THE SITE A FULL SOUTH EASTERN EXPOSURE. THE SITE IS
RELATIVELY FLAT WITH A 4 % SLOPE TOWARDS THE CENTER LINE OF THE SIDEWALK
LABELED AS ELV. 0.00 M. ON ITS SOUTH WESTERN SIDE SITUATES THE BARANGAY HALL OF
THE COMMUNITY WHILE ON THE NORTH EASTERN SIDE IS THE MULTI-PURPOSE COURT
DEVOTED TO THE BARANGAY. THE REST OF THE DEVELOPMENT’S PERIPHERY IS SPRAWLED
BY DIFFERENT RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS OF THE LOCALS RESIDING ON THE SAID BARANGAY.
3. OBJECTIVES
1. TO DESIGN A LOCAL BARANGAY HEALTH CENTER THAT RESPONSIVE THE MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS OF THE PD 1096 AND OTHER NECESSARY CODES
2. TO ADAPT THE STANDARD GUIDELINES OF DESIGNING GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS FOUND
ON PD 1096 THAT WILL MEET THE HEALTH ORIENTED NEEDS OF ITS USERS AND END-
USERS WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE QUALITY OF SERVICE THE PROJECT IS OUGHT TO
PROVIDE.
3. TO DESIGN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT WILL PROMOTE SMOOTH CIRCULATION BETWEEN
