Main Pump: Minimum Output
Service Training

The operator has not operated the joystick or foot pedal.

The load signal from the CMS will be approximately 0 bar (Simulated Signal) to the PMS Master and
Slave boxes.

This signal from the load sensor is processed by the master and slave boxes, and an output of 225mA is
sent to the proportional valves. This is the PMS current.

The main pump proportional valves which are supplied with 50 bar servo are partially opened by the mA
signal and allow 8 bar to enter the main pumps at the X1 port (PMS pressure). This is not sufficient to
bring the main pumps onto stroke.

The main pumps do not come onto stroke until the PMS receives a signal from the from the operators
controls.

LS Load Signal (Variable 0 - 30 bar )
DSF Load Switch travel (ON / OFF)

Main Pump: Maximum Output
Service Training

The operator has pulled i.e. the RH Joystick full stroke:

650mA to all proportional valves, ie Boom, Bucket, Stick, Travel.

The load signal from the CMS is a variable signal 0 - 30 bar (Simulated), dependent on the signal from the
joystick or foot controller.
The maximum load signal will be approximately 30 bar from the CMS to the master and slave boxes.

The Load Switch closes, and a 24 volt signal will be sent the the PMS boxes, indicating a working or travel
function is required. The maximum output of 850mA from the master and slave boxes is sent to the main
pump proportional valves. With 850mA supply, these proportional valves will send 43 bar to the X1 ports of
the main pumps, and they will go to maximum output.
