1. Warm up(4 mins)
Greet students -Ss guess the name of the

2. Listen and circle

Divide the class into 2 or 4 teams with the same
numbers of students in each team. - Ss work in groups
The first student of each team runs to the
teacher (at the same time); teacher whispers a
word/words to them.
The first student whispers the word/words to
the student sitting next to or behind him/her and
so on.
The last students say the word/words aloud.
4. Chant (Track 06) (5 mins)
Write the lyrics of the chant on the board - The students repeat.
Without music, use the phonics cards and step
students to sing the chant with apple and bag. - Ss listen and sing along
Do the same with cat and hat. - Ss sing and do corresponding
With music, the whole class sings the whole actions

Act It Out Game (5 mins)

Have the students colour the apples that have - Ss repeat

Give the students 2 minutes to colour in the
apples that have Aa in them. Go around the
