Bring the summer vibes to your front door with this fun crochet wreath. We can't wait for sunny days when
we can relax in the garden just like this cat in a hammock.

Insert safety eyes between R8 and R9, 6sts apart.

Start to stuff the head with toy stuffing.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew to the body.

Fasten off leaving a tong tail, position on the side of the for the arms & bottom of the body for the legs, sew
in place.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew to the back of the cats body.
Using Black, embroider a simple face.

Hammock
Using Pink
Ch63
R1. 1tr in the 3rd ch from hook, 1tr in each st to the end.
***Fasten off pink, attach blue.
R2. Ch3, 1tr in each st to the end. (60tr)
Fasten off blue, attach yellow.
R3. Repeat R2.
Fasten off yellow, attach cornflower.
R4. Repeat R2.
Fasten off cornflower, attach pink.
R5. Repeat R2.
Repeat from *** twice more
Fasten off pink, attach blue.
R15. Repeat R2.
Fasten off blue and sew in ends.
Fold over the 2 sides of the hammock by 1 cm & stitch a tunnel for the cords to run through.

Cord (make2)
Cream
Ch st until you have 40cm in length.
Fasten off and sew in the ends. Thread the cords through the tunnel/ends of the hammock and tie to your
wreath.
Loopy grass

Using Sage
(34cm length x 16cm wide approx)
Ch31
R1. 1dc in 2nd ch from hook, 1dc in each st to the end (30dc)
R2. WS ch2 (does not count as tr), work a tr loop stitch in each st to the end (30 tr loop st)
R3. RS ch2 (does not count as tr), 1tr in each st to the end (30tr)
Repeat the last 2 rows/ R2 & R3 14more times.
R31. Repeat R1 (30dc)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the two long edges together.
Place the grass in the correct position and wrap around the wreath. Using a yarn needle and the yarn left
from R31, wip stitch along the length to secure in place.

Bumblebee (make 2)

Lightly stuff you bee, fasten off and sew shut.
Bee wings (make 2 for each bee)

Fasten off & sew to the top of the bee.
Forget-me-not (make 4 blue & 2 cornflower)

Yellow.

R1. 6dc in to mc, slst in the next st and fasten off. (6dc)
Blue or Cornflower
Join to any st.
R2. [Slst, ch3, dtr, dtr, ch3, slst] 2times, slst, [slst, ch2, tr, tr, htr] 2times, slst, slst in the 1st ch of beg ch.
Sunflower Leaves (make 6)

Aqua

R1. Ch3 (counts as 1st tr), 11tr in mc, slst in 3rd ch of beg ch. (12tr)

Fasten off & sew in the ends.
Sunflowers

Sunflower centre
(make 4 small & 2 large)

Stop here & fasten off Chocolate for the small flower.

Place the 2 rounds/centre of the sunflower on top of each other & dc around them (1dc in each st). Before
you dc shut, lightly stuff with fibre filling.
Petals
Yellow
Join yarn in any st.
R1.* [dc, htr, tr, dtr, Picot] in the 1st st, [dtr, tr, htr, dc] in the next st, slst in the next st. Repeat from *
around (7times for the large flower, 5times for the small flower) You will have 14 petals for the large flower
& 10 petals for the small flower.
Poppies

Centre of the poppy (make 2)

R2. Ch1, turn (WS), work 2x dc loop st in each st around (12 dc loop st)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew to the petals)
Petals (make a total of 11, 4 for each flower & 1 for each bud)
Pink

Fasten off and sew in the ends.
Lay the petals on top of one another and sew in place. Lay the center of the poppy on top and sew in place.
Poppy buds (make 3)

Fasten off and sew in the ends.
Using one petal, roll it into a sausage shape and glue in the base of the bud. Repeat with each bud.

Daisy (make 3)

Yellow

Fasten off.
Join cream in any st.
R3. * ch8, 1htr in 3rd ch from hook, 1htr in the next 5sts (6htr), slst in the next 2sts. Repeat from * 6times
(6petals)
Fasten off and sew in the ends.

Poppy leaves

Pea
Ch16
R1. 1dc in 2nd ch from hook, 1dc, htr, htr, tr, tr, dtr, dtr, dtr, tr, tr, htr, htr, dc, 3dc in the last st. Now work
down the other side of the ch. 1dc, htr, htr, tr, tr, dtr, dtr, dtr, tr, tr, htr, htr, dc, 2dc in the 1st st, slst in the 1st
st.
R2. Work a Picot in each st around the leaf.
Fasten off and sew in the ends.

Making up

Now you are ready to glue all the parts to your wreath.
