A literary work must be aesthetically satisfying, intellectually


stimulating, and spiritually uplifting. In order to discover if a literary
piece has these qualities, read the poem “Panggaon Unta Ko Nimo
Sama sa Usa Ka Hilanat” by Adonis Durado. After reading evaluate
and answer the following guide questions:
1. Is the poem aesthetically pleasing? Is there any complexity
in its structure or imagery? Why or why not?
2. Is the poem intellectually stimulating? Are there insights
that you have gained after reading it? Why or why not?
3. Is the poem spiritually uplifting? Does it develop empathy in
any way? Why or why not?
