Your favorite hobby
Hobby means one’s favorite occupation, but not one’s main business. A man does
not depend on it for his living but it is not less important than his main business.
It is an interesting way to enjoy our leisure period.
There are many kinds of hobbies like drawing pictures, painting, like flying, stamp
collecting, fishing etc. Whatever be one’s hobby, it offers one pleasure and
instruction.
I like gardening because it is very useful for health and mind. It is a sort of
physical exercise. It strengthens my health and refreshes my mind. Every day I get
great pleasures when I see the blooming flowers in the grades. I am charmed by
their beauty when they are tossed by a gentle breeze. The kid also gets pleasure
when the sweet scent of flowers comes into my room.
Besides this, I grow some vegetables in my graden. This saves a lot of expenses
for my family. for as cheerful life every man should have a hobby. But we should
see that our main works are not humped on account of it.
A village market
A village market is a place where the villagers meet to buy and sell things. It is
a buying and selling center for the villagers. Generally, it sits every morning.
Besides, big markets sit once or twice a week.
A village market generally stands at a place where people can easily come for
buying and selling things. So it usually stands at the junction of roads or by the
side of a river or a canal. Large banyan trees are let grown to give shade and
shelter. There are two kinds of the village market.
They are a daily market and a weekly market. The daily market is called “Bazar’.
In different parts of Bangladesh, it is also called ‘Aarong’.
It sits daily in the morning. The weekly market is called ‘hat’. It sits once or
twice a week in the evening.
The village market is very useful to the villagers. Here they get all things of their
daily use. The villagers find a social and friendly life here.
A village market has some disadvantages too. It is a noisy and unhealthy place.
The pickpockets gather there.
A village market does great service to the rural people. It is the backbone of the
rural economy; we should take concerted efforts to develop this traditional aspect of
our rural environment.

My Aim in Life
Every man should have an aim in life. A man without an aim is like a ship
without a rudder. A man cannot succeed in life without an aim.
Different people have a different aim in life. Some want money, some want the
reputation. Again there are some people who want to serve the nation. So it is
not easy to choose a particular aim in life. I am a student. I have an aim in life.
My aim in life is to be a teacher. My father is a teacher. He always inspires me
to be an ideal teacher.
Teaching is a noble profession. Everybody respects a teacher. A teacher can build
the nation. He can enlighten the society. So, I have decided to be a teacher.
After completing my honours and masters degree, I shall take training from a
teacher’s training college. Then I shall join a school or college. I will teach my
students sincerely.
I think I have chosen the right aim. I will try my best to be successful.
