Executive Summary

Malunggay as the main vegetable that is making waves in the wellness and

health food industries. While pesto is usually made with basil and a pine nut, creamy

cheese like Parmesan, you couldn't call it pesto without these essential elements.

Nonetheless, the group applied reworking of the original recipe into a creamy,

super-healthy, vegan pesto that perfectly balances the peculiar nutty creamy taste of

malunggay may help consumer reconsider their mind about pesto.

The business will be named D’Cloricaryl Enterprise, offering you the new

creamy heathy twist with your pesto with a reasonable price. The store open from

Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is located at Villareal, 209 Sta.

Veronica St. Brgy. Gulod Novaliches Quezon City. A strategic location where it is

close to the market place where the D’Cloricaryl Enterprise ‘potential target market

1.1 Introduction

Filipinos are known to have varieties of food that is simple to cook and a

pleasure to serve and eat. Varieties of these food are blended and have similarity in

flavor and texture that makes it unique and standout. Filipinos also likes to innovate

their existing product or food, it can be for the purpose of minimizing the cost,

shortage of the products or its unavailability.

In the Philippines you can commonly see pesto in restaurants like Italian or in

the products in a grocery or market. It is mostly seen on salads, pastas, meats, breads

or sandwiches. Its main ingredient is the basil/parsley leaves. Unfortunately, these two

products can cause harm to be unsafe once used in other way.

Basil herb and basil oil contain estragole. Estragole which is a chemical that

might increase the risk of a person getting liver cancer. While parsley can cause

allergic skin reactions and consuming very large amount of parsley can be likely

unsafe and can cause other side effects like anemia and liver or kidney problems. With

that being said, the Group 1 from BSIE-4A of Quezon City University proposed a

project D'Cloricaryl Enterprise: Manufacturer of Malunggay Pesto” where the main

ingredient is change from parsley or basil to moringa or also known as malunggay in

the Philippines.

usual Pesto with Malunggay then use our Malunggay Pesto to give major boost of

nutrients, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatories to your pastas, salads, breads, eggs,

meats and pretty much everything! It’s loaded with energizing minerals. It’s a rare

source of plant protein and plant calcium and it helps balance blood sugar level. It is

also more available from the surroundings and market rather than parsley or basil,

sometimes you can just see it in Filipinos backyard or their neighbours. This is also

cheaper than the main ingredients used in making a pesto.

1.2 Project Proponents

The proponent of the proposed project is consisting of five (5) individuals who

have agreed to be part of the business, D’Cloricaryl which are Industrial Engineering

students at Quezon City University that are currently taking Project Feasibility as

part of their curriculum. The three (3) general partners and two (2) Limited Partners.

1.4 Type of Business Organization

The team decided on a limited partnership, it is one in which one or more general

partners or limited partners act in concert with one another. This can't be used as an

excuse for an associate or limited partner to take on debts and commitments that the

partnership can't afford. Limited partnerships are those in which more than one

individual is involved in the firm. The limited partner only has to cover the

corresponding liabilities once the investment is made. The management of the

company's assets is generally the responsibility of general partner, although the

general partner can also be held personally liable. The limited partners usually invest

substantially for their own benefit.

Management Style

As for management style, to balance the organization the team decides to have

a combination of persuasive management style under Autocratic management and

Collaborative management style under democratic management.

Employees will accept top-down choices more easily if they are managed

with a persuasive style. Employees respond more favorably to reason and logic than

they do to the prospect of punishment, and they may feel less constrained than those

handled with an authoritative style.

company's management team trust, value, and listen to employees. They're also

motivated to do their best work, work together to solve challenges and be fully

engaged in the process. Furthermore, because of open communication, workplace

conflicts are frequently resolved before they become serious problems. When people

are engaged, turnover is reduced, and different perspectives frequently result in better

ideas and outcomes.

PRODUCTION FEASIBILITY

4.1. Product Description

Pesto is one of the most popular pasta sauces, and the recipe is a lot easier to

make than you might believe.

Pesto has a creamy texture and tastes like garlic and malunggay. The cheese adds

creaminess, while a drizzle of olive oil adds richness and an earthy taste.

Pesto blended with olive oil adds a distinctive touch to any salad and is ideal for

tuna, chicken, and pasta salads. When combined with rice, risotto, or mashed potatoes,

or dolloped across hot veggies like cauliflower, it can transform ordinary into

extraordinary.

CONCLUSION

The analysis of the whole feasibility report allows management, staff, and

asset personnel to understand the feasibility of business viability. According to the

study, the offered product has sufficient demand. In terms of technology and

production viability, the Malunggay Pesto technique, materials, and ingredients are

widely accessible on the market, making the search for raw materials easier.

Furthermore, with a capital of 350,000.00 pesos, the proponents can raise the

required cash for the company's financial sustainability. With a 68% return on

investment for the year 1 of the enterprise and with a payback period of 0.17 years or

2 months. These results provided valuable insight and an opportunity for proponents

to drive this enterprise into the market. Customers will be able to afford the product's

pricing. As a result, proponents might conclude that the D'Cloricaryl Enterprise's

Malunggay Pesto is feasible and profitable if it is launched on the market.
