behavior
− Will be able to design the structural members of timber structures by Working Stress Design
Method
− Will be able to design the structural members of steel structures by Limit State Design
Method
− Will be capable to use the acquired knowledge in real design practice
Course/Subject will be delivered by the course teacher as given below. Course teacher will play role
of teacher/lecturer and facilitator. In the deliverance of course, all necessary requirements and

tasks/inputs of the course will be covered as per course plan and by using interactive and active
learning methods. Students will be insisted/motivated to actively participate in all class activities.
During the entire session, there will be lectures, interactive class/group discussion, individual
presentation, problem solving class.
Interaction and discussions in the classrooms will be effectively complimented with well-designed
assignments. For the purpose, design assignments will be given to each student and make the
students oblique to complete assignment independently and timely.
