TIP-Post Activity
2022
TIP is institutionalized to provide a systematic and comprehensive support system for the
newly hired teachers in order to seamlessly immerse them in the teaching profession in the
public-school system. This program is anchored in the NCBTS 2017, K to 12 Basic Education
Program, and the TEC Law (also known as Republic Act 7784).
Generally, it intends to improve their knowledge, skills, attitude, and values (KSAVs), and
increase their confidence in teaching to make them effective and efficient, and eventually commit
themselves to nurture every learner and become passionate in teaching. In line with this the
school will conduct school-based program to utilize learning approaches and activities that
needs to be developmental, learner-centered, inclusive, research-based, culture responsive and
gender sensitive, need and competence based, integrative, and flexible and dynamic.

Closing Activity
The activity concluded at the second day, through giving feedbacks and
recommendations. Also, the certificate was given to the participants as well as the
speakers.
IX. Monitoring and Evaluation Analysis
Monitoring and Evaluation were done before, during and after the activity to get the
participants’ expectation and feedback. Some expectations included were the
following:
-Understandable Topics
-Knowledgeable Speakers
-Well ventilated Venue etc.
The participants suggested for longer time for the activity to tackle further some topics
because the two-day LAC for TIP is not enough to cover and discuss everything. But
they commended well the speakers me for highlighting some confusing area of the
topics or discussions.
Its management:
The participants are able to prepare their presentation based on the topics
presented to them. They make sure to assist the participants in situations that
they’re having a difficulty to understand or cope up with. Questions are
entertained and elaborated every during and after discussions.
XI. Recommendation
These were some of the realizations during the school-based training of TIP:
1. Most of the participants recommended that the training should go beyond the
number of days allocated in order to give more time on the discussions
especially in those crucial topics.
2. The participants also commented that the program was considered beneficial to
the neophyte teachers and can also be a good refresher for the experienced
teachers.
3. The participants acknowledge the great importance of the TIP as a systematic
way of enhancing the competence of the newly-hired teachers.
