dealing with crises. The purpose of an
emergency plan is to reduce the impact of an
emergency situation.

Instructions:
Get a ¼ sheet of paper and answer the
following question/s.
1. You got promoted in your work; however, you need to
move to another state. While looking at the areas you
are choosing from, what should you consider first?
A. Choose an area in which an active fault is nearby.
B. Keep away from an area where active fault is nearby.
C. Stay away from an area in which an active fault is
nearby. Consider those areas that have lower risks in
causalities when an earthquake occurs.
D. Choose an area in which you are far away from an
active fault. Consider those areas that have lower
risks of casualties when an earthquake occurs. Start
creating an emergency plan in case any emergency
happens such as earthquakes.
2. You and your family is living near the shoreline. One
day, a strong earthquake hit your vicinity and your
municipality gave a tsunami warning in your area.
A. Prepare for your evacuation.

can from the shorelines.

important things, as this might be destroyed by the
