    ONLINE SPOT ADMISSION (OSA)
    FOR UG Admissions 2022
    Schedule and Processes
    (Candidates are advised to read the document carefully before applying for the Online Spot
    Admission)

    Online Spot Admission (OSA)


    TISS has completed admission to various Under Graduate programmes for the academic year
    2022 – 23 with the declaration of Merit List, First Waitlist and Offline Spot Admission as on November
    25, 2022. However, there are seats vacant in some of the programmes on account of (a) candidates’
    withdrawn admission after making the payment of fees, and (b) non-claiming of seats allotted during
    the results declared. Institute has decided to fill these seats through an ‘Online Spot of Admission’
    and the same is now open to candidates who are currently in the waiting list.

    The Online Spot Admissions will be done in ONLINE MODE using Zoom meeting through registration
    processes. Candidates NEED NOT report physically to the TISS Campuses for OSA.

    With the Online Spot Admission, the admission to UG programmes in TISS for the Academic Year
    2022-23 will be closed.

    Spot Admission Registration Process.


    1. The Online Spot Admission will be conducted in two stages: First Online Spot Admission
    registration and second fee payment for the selected candidates.

    2. Candidates who are currently having waiting list number in TISS Score card for any of the
    programmes and not admitted in any of the programmes in TISS can participate in the OSA.

    3. Candidates are required to join the online meeting using Zoom for registering the Online Spot
    Admission and should be available on the next day to take the admission by making the payments,
    if selected. Selected candidates will be informed through mail or SMS by TISS Admission team.
    Stage-1- Registration.
    1. Spot admission registration zoom link will be available in the TISS online application form for the
    selected candidates and candidates are required to register for the zoom meeting.

    2. After completion of the zoom meeting registration, candidates will get a meeting link in the mail
    given at the time of registration to join OSA on a specified date. This link will be available for only
    candidate having waitlist counter in the TISS score card currently.

    3. Candidates have to join in the Zoom meeting on the Online Spot Admission day for registration.

    4. Candidates will be verified in the Zoom meeting by TISS verification team and followed by OSA
    registration.

    5. Candidates have to inform the team if they want to be considered in more than one programme.

    6. The registration will be done by the admission team members and will provide a registration code
    for each programme registered.

    7. Candidates are responsible for getting separate registration codes from Admission Team, for the
    each programme registered. This code will be used for identifying the registration and reference
    for admission in future.

    8. The registration will be available for a day from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm and 2 pm to 3.30 pm in the
    Zoom meeting.

    9. If any candidates fail to join the meeting and register for the spot admission, will not be
    considered for the UG admission and no claim will be entertained at any stage.

    Stage-2- Fee Payment.


    1. Second day of the registration, the result will be informed to the selected candidates in two slots.
    First half of the day and second half of the day.

    2. The selected candidates have to join the same Zoom meeting link for making payment of fee and
    confirming the admission.

    3. If candidates fail to join the zoom meeting to make the payment of fee within the specified time,
    the allotted seat will be given to the next eligible candidate in the rank list in the second half of
    the day.

    4. All the candidates are required to see mails and SMS in your registered email-id and phone
    number to get the confirmation of the seat allotted for UG admission sent by TISS.

    5. If shortlisted, candidate have to make the payment of the fee on the same day and time
    communicated to the candidates. If failed to pay the fee on time, the seat will be allotted to the
    next candidates.

    Candidates eligible for SPOT Round:

    1. Candidates who are currently in the waitlist and not admitted to any programme in TISS
    2. Candidates who have selected and could not attend the spot admission conducted offline.

    Candidates NOT eligible for SPOT Round:

    1. Candidates who are found not eligible and not having a waitlist number in the TISS Score card.
    2. Students who have already joined any of the programme in TISS. This means that no preference
    / campus mobility will be allowed.
    3. Candidates already selected in the result announced and not confirmed admission by paying the
    fee.
    4. Candidates who have withdrawn the admission after making the fee payment.

    OSA Registration – Please open your online application form (https://ba-admissions.tiss.edu/) and
    the Zoom link will be provided in the homepage for the eligible candidates.
