Detailed notification for Web Based Counselling
The qualified and eligible candidates of TS Ed.CET-2024 Test who have not registered for the
phase-I counselling are informed to upload the required certificate (Refer to point c) for
online verification to attend Web counselling for admission into two years B.Ed. course for
the academic years 2024-2025, as per G.O.MS No.24, dated: 24.08.2017, G.O. Ms. No. 05 dt
31.01.2020, G.O. Ms. No. 14 dt 12.04.2021 and G.O. Ms. No.16 dt 11-06-2021 as per the schedule
given below.
Candidates are informed that they should satisfy the admission rules prescribed in the
related G.O.Ms. No.24, dated: 24-08-2017, G.O. Ms. No. 05 dt 31.01.2020, G.O. Ms. No. 14 dt
12-04-2021, G.O. Ms. No. 16 dt 11-06-2021 and G.O. Ms. No. 33 dt 30-09-2022 and should
be prepared to pay the tuition fee as applicable.
Candidates who have already attended for Certificate Verification in First Phase can
directly exercise web options for second and final phase of Counseling as per the
schedule.
This notification itself is a call for web counselling. No separate call letters are sent to the
individual candidates.
Tuition fee particulars and seats available under Convener Quota College wise will be
notified on the websites: http://edcetadm.tsche.ac.in/ or https://edcet.tsche.ac.in before
the commencement of counselling (option entry). Tuition Fee and Special Fee as fixed by
the Government shall be paid per annum.
The fee reimbursement for eligible candidates is subject to the guidelines issued by the
Government from time to time.
If the candidate secures a seat in Phase – II, he / she will lose the claim on the earlier
allotted college, and has to report to the new college by downloading the allotment letter
on or before the date furnished in the allotment letter. Failing to report within the date
furnished in the allotted college, the candidate will forfeit the claim on the new college as
well as in the old college.
b. Eligibility:
1. The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2. The candidate should belong to Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
3. The candidate should satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the
regulations of admission. (Ref. G.O.Ms. No.24, dated: 24/08/2017 and its amendments
G.O. Ms. No. 14 dt 12-04-2021, G.O. Ms. No. 16 dt 11-06-2021 and G.O. Ms. No. 33 dt 30-
09-2022)
4. Eligibility to different methodologies is followed as per G.O.MS No.24, dated: 24-08-
2017, G.O. Ms. No. 05 dt 31.01.2020, G.O. Ms. No. 14 dt 12-04-2021 and G.O. Ms. No. 16
dt 11-06-2021.

5. Candidates should have secured 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree i.e., B.A. /
B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.Sc. (Home Science) / BCA / BBM / B.A.(Oriental Language) / BBA or
in the Master’s Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
6. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics
with 50% aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
7. However, the candidates belonging to reserved categories viz., SC/ST/BC and other
reserved categories should have secured 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
8. Candidates possessing MBBS/BSC (AG)/ BVSC /BHMT/B.Pharm. and such other
professional and job oriented degree courses viz., LL.B are not eligible for admission
into B.Ed. course.
9. Candidates possessing a Master Degree without having undertaken Under Graduate
study are not eligible for admission.
10. Eligibility to different methodologies is followed as per G.O.MS No.24, dated: 24-08-
2017, G.O. Ms. No. 05 dt 31.01.2020, G.O. Ms. No. 14 dt 12-04-2021 and G.O. Ms. No. 16
dt 11-06-2021.

10. Transfer Certificate.
11. Latest Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of
BC/SC/ST candidates (issued after 02.06.2014), if applicable.
12. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation (applicable only to OC (candidates):
*As per the Guidelines issued in G.O.Ms.No.244, General Administration (SER.D)
Department, Government of Telangana, dated. 24.08.2021, the 10% Reservation to the
Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in respect of Admissions into Educational
Institutions shall be implemented. Candidates should produce EWS Certificate issued
by MRO/ Tahsildar valid for the year 2024-25, if applicable.
13. Special category certificates NCC / CAP / PH / SPORTS
14. Latest Parental Income certificate issued by M.R.O. by Govt. of Telangana on or after
01.01.2024, if applicable.
15. The Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates should upload the SSC “TC” containing
Minority status (or) in the absence of TC, a Certificate issued by the Head of the
Institution in which the student studied/appeared for SSC or its equivalent
examination.
16. Aadhar Card or any other valid I.D. proof.
Note: * Any false or incorrect information furnished detected at any stage will render the
admission of the candidate null and void.
* The Convener reserves the right to cancel the admission of the candidates at any stage if
/ when it is detected that admission is against the rules

1. The preliminary certificate verification will be done based on scanned copies of
original documents uploaded and as per norms.
2. In case of any doubt, enquiry will be done over phone to establish the veracity and
correctness of documents.
3. Provision/Link for exercising options will be made available on the website i.e.
http://edcetadm.tsche.ac.in before the commencement of the web options entry.
4. List of Provisionally selected candidates will be prepared College wise and placed in
the website i.e. http://edcetadm.tsche.ac.in and SMS will be sent to the valid mobile
number furnished in the application.
5. Tuition fee has to be paid through challan at the designated bank. The candidates who
secured seat (provisional allotment) in the counselling can download the fee payment
challan and joining report from the website.
6. Final allotment of seat for admission is subject to satisfactory verification of all
original certificates at reported college and producing fee paid challan.
7. Candidates have to report to the concerned college and produce all original certificates
within the stipulated time.
8. Allotment order will be issued by the principal/verification officer at the allotted
college only after successful verification of all original certificates. The joining report
has to be signed and submitted at the allotted college along with original T.C.
9. Candidates have to submit two sets of attested copies of all certificates at the respective
colleges, one set is meant for submission to the office of the Convener.
10. If the candidate cancels his/her admission, tuition fee will be forfeited as mentioned
below:
• After first phase, full tuition fee will be refunded.
• 50% of the amount after final phase and before cutoff date notified for cancellation
in allotment order and 100% thereafter.
