CASE SUMMARY
In the early 1900s, Carl Juda and Gert von Gaat founded Vanguard Electronics, which is now
a significant electrical and electronic engineering company on a global scale. Vanguard
Electronics has a presence in more than 190 countries and employed 460,000 people
worldwide. In 1999, Mike Wesley and Mack Ramsey, the director of the Systems Test
Department, A direct report decided to foster a sense of teamwork inside the division. Due to
the fact that neither management nor employees had any training or expertise with Teams and
classes, human resources representatives were set up at the training facility acting as the
instructors. A book on empowerment was provided to each department member, and They
were required to read it and share their opinions with the other kids. The Human Resources
division offered courses with a focus on empowering people. Each team member was given
individual attention by Wesley to ensure they have the proper before authorising them, to be
sure they had received training in the procedures and were proceeding appropriately to be
able to decide for themselves.

SOLUTION

Conduct training sessions and team building exercises and other social activities to gain the
member’s trust and satisfy their need to work in teams
