Description of first aid measures

Inhalation ● If overcome by vapor, remove from exposure and call a physician immediately. If breathing
is irregular or stopped, start resuscitation.
Skin ● Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash before using.
Eye ● IF IN EYES: Wash with cool water for at least 15 minutes. Lift lids. Do not rub. Get
medical attention immediately.
Ingestion ● Do NOT induce vomiting. Dilute by drinking milk or water. Get medical attention immediately.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed

● Refer to Section 11 - Toxicological Information.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Notes to Physician ● All treatments should be based on observed signs and symptoms of distress in the
patient. Consideration should be given to the possibility that overexposure to materials
other than this product may have occurred.

Hazardous Combustion ● None
Products
● Structural firefighters' protective clothing will only provide limited protection.
Advice for firefighters Wear chemical protective clothing that is specifically recommended by the
manufacturer. It may provide little or no thermal protection.
Wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
Move containers from fire area if you can do it without risk.
Use water spray to cool containers exposed to fire.

Section 6: Accidental Release Measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Personal Precautions ● Wear appropriate protective equipment including respiratory protection as conditions
warrant. Do not touch or walk through spilled material.
Emergency Procedures ● As an immediate precautionary measure, isolate spill or leak area for at least 50
meters (150 feet) in all directions. ELIMINATE all ignition sources (no smoking, flares,
sparks or flames in immediate area) Keep out of low areas. Keep unauthorized
personnel away. Ventilate closed spaces before entering.
Environmental precautions
● Avoid run off to waterways and sewers.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Containment/Clean-up ● Small spills may be flushed with plenty of water down sewage drain. Large spills should be
Measures absorbed with absorbents (fuller earth type) and placed in containers for disposal.
