1. THIS DRAWING IS TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH ALL OTHER RELATED DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
2. THE EXISTING SERVICES INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS ARE INDICATIVE ONLY AND MAY NOT BE
COMPREHENSIVE.
3. LOCATION OF WASHOUT AND AIR VALVES ARE INDICATIVE ONLY. THE EXACT LOCATION TO BE AGREED BASED ON THE
CONTRACTOR'S PIPELINE PROFILE DESIGN OR BASED ON SITE CONDITION WASHOUT FOR LOW POINT AND AIRVALVE FOR
HIGH POINT.
4. ALL PIPE CROSSINGS ACROSS ROAD AND ENTRANCE DRIVEWAY SHOULD BE THROUGH GRP DUCT AS PER STANDARD
DRAWING. WHEREEVER DUCTS REQUIRED TO PROTECT WATER SUPPLY LINE TO BE INCLUDED AT SITE.
5. LOCATION OF LINE VALVE, FLOW METER VALVE CHAMBER AND FIRE HYDRANT IS TENTATIVE AND SHALL BE CONFIRMED
WITH ENGINEER PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
6. ALL DI PIPES AND FITTINGS IN BURIED CONDITION SHALL BE PROTECTED.
7. ALL PIPES INSIDE CHAMBERS ARE TO BE D.I. AS SPECIFIED BY LOCAL AGENCY STANDARDS.
8. HEAVY DUTY D.I. COVER AND FRAME TO BE USED FOR ROADS AND MEDIUM DUTY FOR SIDE WALKS.
9. COVER SLABS TO BE PROVIDED WITH LIFTINGS HOOKS. SURFACE BOX TO BE INSTALLED VERTICALLY ABOVE VALVE
SPINDLE.
10. ALL VALVES IN CHAMBERS ARE TO BE EQUIPPED WITH AN EXTENSION SPINDLE TO ENABLE VALVE OPERATION FROM THE
SURFACE.
11. THRUST FLANGES SHALL BE FACTORY WELDED.
12. ALL WATER PLOT CONNECTIONS WERE ADJUSTED COMPLYING WITH MECHANICAL (MEP) DRAWINGS.
13. TOP & VERTICAL EXTERNAL BURIED CONCRETE SURFACES TO BE PROTECTED AS PER LOCAL AGENCY STANDARD.
- AT TOP SURFACE, WATER PROOFING MEMBRANE SHALL BE PROTECTED BY 50mm. THICK SAND /CEMENT SCREED.
- AT VERTICAL EXTERNAL SURFACE, WATER PROOFING MEMBRANE SHALL BE PROTECTED BY FIBRE BOARD.
14. TOP & EXTERNAL SURFACES OF THE COVER SLAB TO BE PROTECTED AS PER LOCAL AGENCY STANDARD.
15. CHAMBER ACCESSORIES SHALL BE AS PER LOCAL AGENCY STANDARD DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
16. THE LENGTH OF FLANGED PIPES ARE CALCULATED BASED ON THE LENGTH OF STANDARD VALVES AND FLOWMETERS.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL AGREE TO THESE LENGTHS WITH ENGINEER BEFORE PLACING THE ORDERS.
17. IF THE FITTINGS INDICATED ARE NOT AVAILABLE, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ARRANGE THE APPROPRIATE FITTINGS TO
SUIT AS AGREED BY ENGINEER AT SITE.
18. VALVE CHAMBERS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH CONCRETE SUPPORT FOR VALVES THE SUPPORT SHALL BE SHAPED TO SUIT
THE BODY OF THE VALVE.
19. TEMPORARY END CAP SHALL BE PROVIDED AT THE END OF PROPERTY SERVICE CONNECTIONS.
20. NETWORKS TIE-IN TO EXISTING PUBLIC NETWORK ARE INDICATIVE AND CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY THE EXACT LOCATION
OF TIE-IN CONNECTION.
21. THIS DRAWING IS TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH ALL RELEVANT PROJECT DRAWINGS.THE ENGINEER SHALL BE
NOTIFIED OF ANY INCONSISTENCIES IN WRITING AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE AND PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF
CONSTRUCTION.
