Functions table and functional diagram

Functions table and functional diagram

The table below defines which protection functions are available in each model of the DA Automation family. The number of lines / bays /
switchgear (CB/ LBS) to be monitored, protected, automated and/or controlled depends on the number of selected expansion modules.
The number of lines to be monitored, protected, automated and/or controlled depends on the analogue input (Current - CT - and / or Voltage -
VT / voltage sensors) requirements. It is possible to monitor, protect, automate and/or control a maximum of five lines with a single Ingepac DA
using five sets of 4 x CT inputs and one set of 3 voltage measurement (VT / Voltage sensor) inputs.

Extinguished current
It is the maximum current value under which the equipment Logical functions based on IEC 61131-3
considers that the current is extinguished in the system.
Two of the languages defined in the IEC-61131-3 standard are
offered for the creation of the logics: one textual (ST) and one
Automatism graphic (FBD).
Protection logics:
 Execution period of 2ms.
Fault isolation
 The result of a protection logic is always a Boolean
It is coordinated with the main CB / LBS / Recloser in such way value, to be assigned for example in one of the
that, in the event of a fault, the part of the line closest to the fault is protection function's settings.

Slack Spring Automatic Operation
The equipment monitors the status of the springs through a digital Statistics
input. If this input remains active for a time exceeding the time set
Breaker information:
as “Spring tension time”, ", the Ingepac DA will activate an output
contact which can be used to start the spring charging motor.  Breaker opening counter (trips or manual)
