Course title: ELEMENTARY STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY
No. of units: 3 units
Course description: THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED TO DEVELOP AN UNDERSTANDING OF TOPICS, METHODS AND TOOLS
WHICH INCLUDES AN INTRODUCTION TO STATISTICS, STATISTICAL DESCRIPTIONS, FREQUENCY
DISTRIBUTIONS, MEASURES OF CENTRAL TENDENCY, VARIABILITIES, POSITION AND
PROBABILITIES, PROBABILITY DISTRIBUTIONS SAMPLING AND SAMPLING DISTRIBUTIONS,
TESTING HYPOTHESIS BASED ON MEASUREMENTS, COUNT DATA, PAIRED DATA AND USE OF
NONPARAMETRIC TESTS.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

1. For online classes, the students must be registered from the


Admin for their Google Workspace in their mobile device or
computer for online class.
2. Students must create their own account in order to
