Pakistan Oil Fields Limited (POL); a Company engaged in Exploration and
Production of Oil and Gas in Pakistan.

Duties & Responsibilities


 Identification and pre-qualification of Vendors/Contractors, including
maintaining the Pre-Qualification Database in ERP environment.
 Assisting the management in developing the company’s procurement capability
and day to day performances.
 Production of invitation to bid documentation for services contract as well as
equipment purchases.
 Control of queries during bidding period, including issuing Bid Bulletins.
 Tender analysis and award recommendations; preparation and issuance of
Purchase orders/Service contract
 Reporting and tracking of progress at different stages..

 Technical evaluation/vetting of different Turnkey proposals for Engineering
Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for supply & construction of 129 MW
(Independent Power Producer) Combined Cycle Power Plant on low calorific value
gas with 2 General Electric GE Frame 6B Gas Turbines with independent HRSGs and
Steam Unit.
 Assigning different tasks to the consulting Engineers regarding development of the
Project.
 Negotiate with different organizations for Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contract
for the Plant.

 To execute emergency work and supervise mechanical maintenance personnel in

 To carryout routine and preventive Mechanical maintenance of gas turbines and their
auxiliary equipment which includes starting devices (Detroit Diesel Engines V-12),
pumps, compressors, fuel air & lube oil system etc.
 To prepare tenders and work orders on FOR & FOB basis for procurement of OEM or
Equivalent spares for GTs and their Auxiliaries.
 Academic/technical assistance to staff through lectures and presentations
