Lecture 6
Listening Guide
To illustrate the points of this lesson Iʼve selected Jupiter from The Planets by Gustav Holst.
Hopefully you have this in your music collection. If you don't, for your convenience I've
researched and found multiple performances on YouTube you can choose from. If you don't
have Jupiter from The Planets please look to purchase (or stream) a legal MP3 from iTunes,
Amazon or similar music retailers.
To get the MOST out of this lecture, listen to the performance before you watch Video Lecture 6.

Obvious Adams
In Video Lecture 6, you were referred to the Obvious Adams website to access a free PDF
edition of Robert Rawls Updegrafʼs book Obvious Adams: The Story of a Successful
Businessman. The free PDF book is no longer available at that site, but itʼs available to view at
the Hathi Trust Digital Library using the link below. When the webpage opens, click on the
“Full View” link. You can view the book but must be a Hathi Trust educational partner to
download it.
Itʼs also available in both print and Kindle editions from Amazon.
NOTE: The web links in this document cannot be guaranteed to be permanently available. If you
